Strong hold & nice appearance
I ordered the 1″ tortoise clip that is somewhat clear but has a pleasant neutral brown color that can be worn with anything. The purpose is only to hold small sections of hair away from my face keeping it back off my face. It’s a nice change from a headband. These are quality clips and have a strong, tight hold. They would also be good for younger girls. I’m an older woman that chooses to wear my hair longer than many women my age. If these were not so pricey (my only negative), I would definitely order more colors and sizes. If price isn’t a main concern and you’re looking for an attractive, effective small 1″ clip, I definitely recommend these.

Interesting piece…not sure about the plastic quality
This is the third time I’m purchasing a hair clip from this company. Previously I got two narrower pieces with simpler designs, and I was happy with the hard resin-like plastic material they used. This one has a more elaborate design, but the plastic is much thinner and it has a give that makes me think it may not last as long or may break. I have thick hair so this may not be an issue for others. It does hold a decent amount of hair.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE POOR QUALITY
These are pretty, but they do not last. Bought 3 of these clips, however 2 are broken after being worn 3-4 times. The pin holding the spring in place was not manufactured correctly it sticks out too far on one side and not far enough on the other. Therefore on one side the arms holding each half together comes off where the spring is. See photos.

HInge for hair clip is gold, not silver as pictured.
This clip is very pretty, bought the 2″ and it is tiny- I have fine hair and perhaps this is too small as it barely securesmy hair and after awhile it starts to droop. Disappointed that the spring/hinge is gold color, prefer silver (only have silver jewelry). Also, I only ordered one 3.5″ hair clip and I’m hoping it will be better size wise and hopefully have a silver spring/hinge. These hair clips are pricey, so I was hoping to treat myself to a few since I’d lost my favorite hair clip recently- wishing I had ordered more 3.5″ now that I know the 2″ is too small. The product arrived fairly fast considering many delivery services are delayed due to COVID-19.

This hair clip is very pretty and different from what you can buy at the drugstore. It’s just too darn big for my hair and head. If you have a lot of hair to hold, this would be great for you because it does clamp very strongly and has a large circumference. For me, with my fine hair, the circumference is too much.Also, the decorative part is quite large. This make my already very large head look that much bigger. For regular-sized heads this won’t be a problem. The colour is a lovely pearly pinkish beige. If it came in different sizes, I would order a smaller one for sure, because it’s good strong clip.

These clips are strong plastic, with durable, well-crafted teeth. Hinge mechanism is sturdy, and my wife says they work great in fine hair or to handle extension-based “updo”s, where lots of hair fibre is present. She says they are not too heavy either. The color worked well with lots of shades of clothing, cool and warm, deep and pastel-y. They look very nice and she ‘s not aggravated by fixing them every little bit, but can ‘clip and go’ as it were. Well worth the price, and very reliably made, as well as quite fetching!
