Best as a the “Poncho”. Warm and cozy. Good for chilly outdoor events, sitting at bonfire.
This stadium blanket/poncho/sleep sack can be 4 things:1) Poncho Mode – this is a very good. WARM! Can walk around/sit wearing this.2) Sleeping Bag Mode – just okay. Moderately Warm.3) Sitting Bag Mode – this is good. Warm to Moderately Warm. Can’t walk around with bag this way.*4) Flat Blanket Mode – couldn’t use this because one of the zipper pulls wouldn’t completely disengage to allow the bag to open fully into a blanket.Poncho mode is very good! Plenty of extra material so even when I sit down my bottom is covered. Falls below the knees and plenty of material on the sides to stay cozy and warm. The hood is snug – I had to take my glasses off to pull it over my head. Super warm and cozy, even with the hood down the material there covers the chin and neck. This is perfect for outdoor sporting events, bonfires, cooler weather evening on the deck, camping. Much cozier than messing around with a coat + lap blanket. The best part is a person can get up and walk around while this is on.Sleeping bag mode requires the hood to be rolled up, tucked into the bag, and snapped shut. Then the bottom of the bag needs to be pulled tight with a drawstring. This would work “okay” for slightly chilly weather but leave too many gaps, between the drawstring and the zipper, for colder weather. I wish this was a zipper closure.Sit bag mode will cover even a taller person from the top of their feet to under their arms. The feet will be exposed unless the bottom uses the drawstring to close. The hood also needs to be tucked in and snapped closed to keep that area snug and closed up. Like the poncho this is good for sporting events – although can’t get up and walk around like with the poncho on.Blanket mode – as mentioned above, I can’t review this because the one zipper wouldn’t disengage. If I get that to work I’l update my review.

Very versitle
I camp 10 months out of the year and this is the perfect thing to keep on hand just in case I need some extra warmth. In all honesty I’m leaving it in my car for emergencies.

Good poncho, ok sleeping bag
The problem that I run into with items that try to do multiple things is they typically never do anything really well so you end up settling for something that does a few things kind of ok. When used as a poncho it is probably the most useful. It is warm for the parts it covers, I’m 5’11” and it came down to slightly above my knee. As a sleeping bag it could be better. I’m not a big person, 175lbs and 20in wide at the shoulders, and this was very tight in the shoulders. the only way I could get comfortable was to bring my shoulders forward, if I slept like this I would be miserable the next day. On the plus side it does use up less space in a back than a coat and 40 degree sleeping bag.

Sleeping bag hoodie
This a weird little combination sleeping bag and poncho. It’s effective for light duty stuff. Don’t expect it to keep you dry and warm in super sub zero weather and severe storms. However, this works well for less harsh conditions, especially if you layer intelligently. It’s lightweight. It’s nice and loose as a poncho should be. It feels somewhat water resistant. It collapses down into a storage bag like many other sleeping bags. This is a good little sleeping bag with hood & pocket.

Camp smarter
This is the ideal “cool night around the fire pit” and “smarter than my friends, too” hoody. Be all warm and cozy while star gazing or chatting. Length is on the shorter end as disclosed; on my tall self it felt short while standing but perfect while sitting. A lap blanket would solve that depending if you run hot or cold; works great for me. Would make a great gift for any outdoor pal.
