Worth every penny…
Alright, so I got this vest in the mail…and the packaging was torn to pieces. I didn’t have high hopes about the condition of the vest and the weights, but I opened it up and…All the weights were sitting in a pile at the bottom of the box. The vest itself was still wrapped up in the original plastic. I checked over the weights, they all look good, and the right number as well. The vest is the real winner though. I love it. This vest has shoulder pads that are wide enough so that the don’t cut into your shoulders, and they are decently thick. Not to say that I can’t feel the weight, but it doesn’t hurt. The vest is a decent size. It is big enough that it holds all of the weight, but small enough that it doesn’t get in the way while I am walking around. I am still pretty big right now, and have been working on losing weight, so getting this vest allows me to increase the weight I carry when walking. I pretty much will add back each pound I lose by way of the vest, keeping my body working. So I am 6’4″, 300lbs. and the vest fits. Now I don’t have any extra room in it, but I can still breathe easily with it on. The vest is sturdy and I don’t feel like I will have to worry about it falling apart any time soon. On the vest there are pockets for the sandbags to slide into. There are both “double” pockets, and “single” pockets. I found that getting the sandbags into the single pockets, all you have to do is hold the bag by one end and let the sand fall to the other. Now lay down the sandbag, with the “empty” side toward the pocket. Slide it in as far as you can, then lift up the entire vest, allowing the sand in the bag to start filling out the end of the sandbag that is already in the pocket. Then just shake the vest up and down, and the sandbag slides right in. I just wouldn’t want to fight putting it in and taking it out a lot. Overall, even though the packaging was damaged, I feel that this vest is going to work for me for a very long time, the price was great, and I can start at lower weight and work my way up. As of right now, the 80lb vest is the best price per pound, drastically so actually. I was planning on the 40 or 60 until I realized the 60 and 80 cost almost the exact same. And this vest is worth twice what it cost. Great bargain, without giving up quality.

A lot better than I expected! Great price
I was hesitant to buy this vest because the price seemed too good to be true. I’m glad I did it. It has no cons. It fits great. I am a female, petite with large breasts and I am able to make it work comfortably and secure it tightly around my waist. Ideal for rucking too. It is a great buy, great investment. Quality product which I highly recommend.

Would prefer adjustable straps over velcro but overall, happy with the design and function.
I’ve been using the 50 lbs. weighted vest a little over a month now, roughly 5 days a week. My goal was to utilize what little time I have for exercise by hiking during my lunch breaks at work for around an hour. TMI but I am a single father of three, work a full time sales job where I’m on my butt 90% of the time. So I wanted to take advantage of my lunch break walks by adding weights to my walk. I am average height and around 235 lbs. so I’ve got a belly. The vest fits just fine but the straps, specifically the left side isn’t long enough so I have to twist it to make the velcro work. I wish they were either longer or an adjustable strap but overall this design has worked really well for me. I do between 4 and 6 miles a day in the vest so the shoulders do start to hurt from where it rides but I would purchase this again despite those problems, and might upgrade to 80 lbs. soon to keep my progress up.Side note for anyone interested, this is not product related, but invest in good socks and shoes… the blisters are fastly becoming my biggest foe while using this vest.

80 and 100 pound comparison
I bought the 80-pound vest 2.5 years ago. I used it nearly every day for squats until my cat decided it would make a good litter box. I figure I got my money’s worth out of it, and it was time for a better one anyway, so I ordered the 100-pound. I didn’t order the 100-pound because I need that much weight. I got it because I wanted the steel weights instead of the sandbags that come with the 80-pound and lower weight vests. The 80-pound served me well. There was a tear in the shoulder strap similar to what another reviewer posted. I was okay with that because it was not going to come apart completely. Like I said, I used it nearly every day. My main complaint about the 80- was that the sand bags were so difficult to get in and out of the pockets that I never bothered to change the weight and just kept it about 65 pounds. You can see in the pictures how much bigger the sand bags are. The 80- vest is much larger than the 100+. The steel weights are very easy to get in and out of the pockets. The sand bags are all 3 pounds. The steel ones are 3 and 1.5 pounds. The 80- comes is one piece and has padded shoulders. It isn’t adjustable and hangs at my waist and I’m 6’4″. The 100+ comes in two pieces (pictured) and does not have pads in the shoulders. The 100+ is adjustable. I tried wearing it at the shortest setting but I couldn’t reach the straps that go around you to secure it. I let it out maybe 3 inches front and back and now it sits a couple inches above my waist. The 100+ is a much snugger fit which is great. The 80- was too loose to do push-ups with but I can use the 100+ for that no problem. I definitely prefer my new 100-pound vest over the older one. Obviously the price jumps up quite a bit when you go from 80 to 100 pounds. When I bought the 80 I think the 100 was about double the price of the 80 but right now the 100 is only $150. I think that’s a pretty good deal for a versatile, durable piece of equipment that I’ll use every day.Even if you need less than 80 pounds the 100 pound vest better if you can handle the price. The main drawback for the 80- is how tight the weights fit in the pockets and the size. If you’re a smaller person the 80-pound is going to be very large on you. I don’t know if the lighter ones are just as big or not. They could be smaller and have fewer pockets. I suspect the 120 is exactly like the 100 because there are enough pockets to hold 46 three-pound weights. That would make the vest 138 pounds plus the weight of the vest which is probably about 5 pounds empty. So to truly be 150 pounds the vest would need 4 more pockets. Mine came with 103.5 pounds of weights-23 3-pound and 23 1.5-pound and there are 46 pockets but they will all take the 3-pound weights.I’d give the 80-pound 4 stars because of the tight pockets. The 100-pound costs more but the advantages are worth it. Now if I can just keep it out of the reach of my cat….

This vest is more comfortable than expected. It is also very durable and it is easy to adjust the fit. The 2.5 pound weights allow it to be customized easily.

Si necesitas poner y quitar para hacer el ejercicio resulta mejor una sand bag. Si no necesitas movertelo durante tu rutina está ok
