    This is GREAT!
This. This cat toy is way fun for my cat AND me!! She’s smarter than she appears and figured out what she had to do to get the treats pretty quickly. The puzzle is pretty; colors are bright. Sturdy and well-made. It’s become the favorite toy in my house for my kitty. She even plays with it when there are no treats hidden – maybe just looking to see if any have appeared. This is so worth the money for your cat!!

    Well Constructed
My cat figured this out in less than 10 minutes but he still loves it. He goes back every time I fill it even if it is only with his normal dry food. I was hesitant to buy this as it is more than I typically spend on cat toys. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the item. It is about the size of a sheet of paper and is little noisy when the pieces are moved around. Overall I think it was a worthwhile investment as it continues to entertain my cat.

    Great enrichment
Overall, the product seems to be durable and made really well, and I like the colors. It’s also easy to set up with the treats and everything that moves does so very easily. so far my cat seems to have shown only a mild interest, But I use it for a small amount of time a few days a week to get him used to it, and the instructions provided were helpful for knowing what steps to take to get my cat comfortable with it.He seems to have gotten the hang of the swivel pieces – my only complaint is that there is a small gap between the cup and the surface of the device which causes flatter treats to get stuck. This means he has trouble getting the treat out, and essentially pushes his entire nose against the edge to get it, and I imagine that it’s not super comfortable.Still, it’s a good toy that forces him to think a little and it mimics foraging for food. And I think it’s a good value for the money as it seems it will last a lo if while.

    So much fun!
My girl is 13 and this is her first puzzle toy so I wasn’t sure what she would think about it. She’s a little picky with toy’s so I was really hoping she would be interested.I started with the ladybugs only half way covering the treat cup so she could still see the treat but had to move the lady bug to get it. Within a few minutes she was nudging the little ladybugs to get the treat and purring the whole time! It’s so much fun and I really like that you can increase or decrease the challenge for kitty. Overall it’s an awesome product and I’m really thrilled that she likes it.

You can alter the challenge level
If you look at the picture of the product you can see that there are leafy bits that can hang over the side. Those bits swivel over a little dip in The tray. When we first got the toy we uncovered all the dips and let them grab snacks out of them. That’s the easiest level. The second level is covering the dip with the red slider things. After that for the next level you can block the dip with the leaf thing. Our cats figured it out relatively quickly, but they still loved the toy.Currently we cover all the dips with the plastic leaves and drop snacks into the red things. The only way for them to get the snacks are to move the leaves out of the way, slide the red thing over to the dip, and then slide the red thing back so it uncovers where the snacks have fallen. Our cats LOVE this toy, and I try not to give it to them too often so they don’t get bored of it. I’m now looking for more complex toys by the same brand. They are safe, nice to look at, and they really make my cats happy, which is the most important thing.

    Takes Time
Just purchased this toy for my two cats who get stir crazy. One of my cats has no interest in it while the other one is slowly figuring it out. It keeps her busy for about 10 minutes at a time. Hopefully they’ll both get the hang of it soon. The color and design is pretty!

    Fantastic beginner puzzle feeder!
I bought this for my special needs kitty that is very particular about her toys and, at the time, fully expected that I would have to send it back because she wouldn’t know how to use it. It took her a few times of me showing her how things worked but, after a little bit, she got the hang of it!It’s now one of her favorite activities other than playing with her springs and cat charmer! I have to fill it up at least once a day or she screams and it keeps her occupied for quite a while still. It feels like it’s well made and, so far, has been easy to clean. It looks just like it does in the picture and I feel very comfortable letting her play with it when I’m out of the house. If this company makes more feeder toys, I will definitely be buying them! Thank you 🙂

It’s a good, easy first puzzle for cats
My cat has figured out how to use it already. The pegs slide very smoothly for an easy challenge – my cat can push it with her snout to get the treat. The ‘watermelon seeds’ are a bit harder to move (for a harder challenge).

Pros:- This is a pretty impressive-looking but still beginner to intermediate level cat feeder. It said to increase difficulty slowly, but after two days of my cat not even having to think about it, I skipped to the hardest level and that took him about day to figure out completely. This is NOT a food-motivated cat, nor is he a particularly bright one (I know, I love him, but he’s an orange tabby with very limited access to the One Orange Brain Cell they all share — pictures posted as evidence that if he can solve these, ANY cat can. Images as proof.)- Well-made, easy to clean, dishwasher safe- Can be set up in stages to help cats learn the skills to successfully acquiring all the kibbles/treats/etc- perfectly sized for most dry cat foods and treats (ladybugs will accept and release up to Greenies Cats size treats)- no jams, nothing trapped that needed prying out- makes slowing down kibble inhalation and portion control a lot easier, as he’s no longer focused on the bottom of his dish- already able to transfer skills learned with this toy/feeder to others- most importantly, and why I began this: HE IS NO LONGER BOLTING HIS FOOD AND REGURGITATING IT. Because, beyond the “ew I just stepped in semi-digested cat food” factor, it was seriously bad for his health and probably hurt.Cons:- he now refuses to be fed out of a food dish- it now takes 20+min to portion out his dry food in the mornings between three toys, two fillable mice I then hide, and a treat dispensing ball that contains a spiral to up the difficulty beyond “ball with a hole in it”. Again in the evenings. My cat is now so smug as he no longer needs me, he feeds himself and is a mighty hunter, thank you very much. This is a monster of my own creation. That said, this is also a really good puzzle feeder or treat dispenser with the ability to increase or decrease the difficulty. We had a couple of secondhand dog puzzles he was enjoying, but this is much better and of all the puzzles we have it continues to be the easiest to fill and clean for the longest length of feeding time as he doesn’t get more than 4-5 kibbles per ladybug. The leaf in the middle really ups the difficulty, you might want to leave that open for a long while as it can lock up several other leaves. Only once they’re slapping leaves aside is it a good time to stick this wrench in the cogs 😄

I never even suspected my Cookie is going to love this toy as much as he does.I did show him how to use it by sitting with him and moving the elements of the toy with my finger and letting him eat the treats I uncovered….then he took over. The big wheel took him around 4-5 to work out to a confident level and now he’s definitely an expert. The only drawback that I can find is that this is the most difficult level so, although Cookie is still a raving fan after 4 months yet I’d like to keep things varied for him and might need to start checking out dogs toys since there’s nothing more difficult than this toy.All in all, a fantastic purchase that keeps the cat mentally engaged. 😻I also find it incredibly interesting to just watch Cookie solving the puzzle 😊Highly recommend for both cats and owners. If your cat isn’t overly keen, it really might help sitting with him and “solve” it together once or twice as it also can strengthen the bond. 🙂
