Works with Wyze cameras
I bought two on 7/2/24 for $44.99 each! One was not working during set up, so I did a factory reset and it works perfectly. The second one was fine out of the box and worked without any problems. I had to add the Alexa app to my IPhone, so I could sync my Wyze cameras. Both Echo’s look brand new, without any marks, or scratches. In settings, you can control what pops up on your screen, it’s user friendly.

Underwhelming. Lacks Basic Functionality and Access to Popular Apps
So, I didn’t realize this Echo Show 5 3rd gen doesn’t have Netflix. Can’t get Netflix. Can’t play Netflix. I couldn’t get it to play videos from my Plex server of videos I actually own. It would only play videos you have to pay for through Plex. So, double thumbs down .I don’t need an overly expensive clock that tells fart jokes and the weather. I no longer watch Amazon Prime video since they so greedily introduced commercials for a service that I paid for in order to not watch commercialsMy Echo Dot 3rd gen bricked for no apparent reason after less than 5 years. I can’t afford to just keep buying Amazon garbage that only works long enough for Amazon to discontinue it and introduce an over priced replacement. Honestly, my first thought when I took this Echo Show 5 out of the box was: why did I just spend so much money for this when my phone screen is actually larger and has vastly better graphics and functionality? Sending this over priced, outdated and over-marketed hunk of junk back. Oh, I will say it sounded good for it’s size. So, if you want to hear a fart joke it will sound very lifelike with added dimension and bass. What a joke this product is. Literally.

I bought this as a white noise machine to replace using my phone/ iPad all night. Absolutely love it. It has a little button at the top to completely hide the camera if youâre worried about that lol. It plays my music from spotify and books from Libby!!!! It can display your photos. The sound quality is great!!!!! Was not expecting that. For the price I couldnât ask for anything better and it looks brand new. Absolutely loved it Iâm gonna get a few more as presents because I know other people will enjoy it just as much! Nice little clean look too 🙂
