Great for skin cycling… Update on my results
â¤4.5 Stars previously but updating to 5 stars because after finishing this serum I did repurchase during the spring sale because I love the results so far and my skin looks significantly better: smoother, healthier, plump, radiant, and glowy. My 5yo daughter said “Mommy, why is your skin so shiny” lol… I have not used retinol in 2 weeks because I ran out and have been researching for a new one. I continued to use this product consistently however and can confidently credit this product for some of my skin’s improvement. Was happy to be able to repurchase during a sale and am now subsribed to recieve it regularly. I previously complained about the price because my actives are the same price and I couldn’t really justify the price for a product that isn’t really a staple like Vit C or Retinol BUT again, I do appreciate the delivery, the design, the ingredients, and the results.This is gentle enough to use on ‘repair day/ night’ of my skin cycling routine. I find it soothing and hydrating, and it layers well with other products. I love that it pairs well with my sunscreen too so I can definitely wear it during the day; unlike some products that begin to beed up when you put your sunscreen over it. I love the design and delivery but I wonder if those add a lot to the price. Maybe I shouldn’t complain as I would not want to see either aspect changed. I already use other somewhat pricey actives that are a must (Vitamin C & Retinol) so it would be great if this product were a little more affordable since it’s not a skincare staple (yet?). I would like to repurchase, but I’d also like to see the price come down. I would like to continue to have this as part of my skin cycling routine though so I hope it’s not one of those products that gets discontinued. I do think it will last me a while since I am currently using it at a rate of 2 days and 2 night per week. I am using other powerful actives and currently have no wrinkles or fine lines so it’s hard to say yet if I have had a reduction in those things due to this product, but I do credit it as a great preventative. (Actually I do have a line trying to form on my forehead near my hairline, and I have noticed a difference since using this for 4 weeks now) Overall, I would probably repurchase while staying on the lookout for deals on it. A good deal every once in a while and I would definitely repurchase.

Great product, smart bottle design
Besides feeling great on my face, I love the bottle design that allows you to see how much you have left so you can reorder on a timely basis (see photo). Additionally, I like the fact that it has an âEXCELLENTâ rating on the Yuka app. I strongly recommend this product and the Yuka app without reservation.

Have not seen any tightening effect thus far
This serum is lightweight, gives a nice subtle glow, and I use it in conjunction with the matching night cream for approximately 2 months now. Both are amazing and very moisturizing. I do love both, however I have not seen any skin tightening effects so far. I have to say though also, I have lost a ton of weight and my skin is just having a hard time keeping up, so not really the products fault.Some people do tend to break out with this brand, so you may do a patch test first. I also have extremely extremely sensitive skin, but I am not having any side effects from this. Both Cetaphil and CeraVe are amazing Brands and I love all of them. Very moisturizing.I have recently started derma rolling, and use both CeraVe and Cetaphil afterwards as they are the least abrasive ingredients, since you are not supposed to use vitamin c or Retinol for a couple of days afterwards. So this is perfect.I do recommend the serum. Thank you.

This is one of a very few skincare products that actually does what it says it does. By the end of the first bottle, I could see a difference in my skin.It has no discernable scent, it is a very light feeling but great moisturizer and my overall complexion is just … better. It’s a little pricey to buy a bottle a month (using it twice a day) but it’s worth it.I wash my face using CeraVe cleanser, then apply this, then CeraVe lotion over it. I have a line filler I use under foundation and since I’ve been using this, I don’t really need the line filler. In fact, today I only applied this and then my foundation, no lotion, no line filler and my skin looked so good. It’s wonderful, because soon it will be too hot to apply multiple layers of “goop” to my face in the morning!

Good serum but bad marketing
This is generally speaking a good product, but I think it is unethical to advertize a product as containing peptides when there are no isolated peptides included in the formula. They seem to be referring to the several plant extracts in the formula that may contain peptides. This is certainly NOT a retinol alternative and the benefits you may see from whatever peptides are in this product are minimal at best. I think this product is decently hydrating and moisturizing, but simply because of the added humectants like panthenol, not peptides. I enjoy Cetaphil as a brand and I think this product is good, but the marketing is very questionable. You can find better barrier repairing serums that contain peptides for less money from brands like Purito, Pyunkang Yul, and Skin1004.
