Buy the boots
I got a pair of boots like these from Aldi for a screaming deal and they lasted for three years. They of course fell apart and started leaking so I came to Amazon for a replacement pair. These Chookas are warm, they are comfortable and they keep my feet dry. They fit very well with socks on and my socks don’t usually slide down. They’re great for shoveling the driveway quick, to go out in the rain, that slushy walk from the parking lot to the office or just running one or two quick errands. They do not work for me for longer shopping adventures because they don’t have a ton of support especially in the arch but that’s not really what I purchased them for so I won’t let that impact my review.

The perfect rain boot
I recently moved and lost my Chookas in the process, and here I am buying another pair! These are the perfect rain boots. They’re so cute and go with every outfit. I live in Colorado, and these boots have carried me through torrential rain, multiple blizzards, a dislocated knee, and more! They keep my feet completely dry. When I first got the boots, I tested them by walking on black ice. No slips! The sole has just enough traction to keep you safe. They perform well in every environment I’ve worn them in, and I haven’t noticed my feet being too hot even on days where it’s relatively warm.I have a genetic disorder that causes a lot of joint issues, and I have high instep + arches. These boots are unbelievably comfortable, and they fit me just right. My foot/knee/hip pain drastically improves with these on, even with barometric pressure changes that usually put me out of commission. They’re so easy to put on, the arch support is absolutely perfect for me.Overall, you can’t beat these boots. They’re cute, comfy, and honestly I think they’re better than my Docs that cost $100+.

Cute but disappointing
As a woman who loves stylish footwear that can handle whatever the weather throws my way, I was initially thrilled with the Chooka Women’s Waterproof Plush Chelsea Bootie. They were cute, cozy, and indeed kept my feet dry during rainy days. However, my excitement was short-lived when after a few months of wear, I noticed the seams starting to come apart. They were my go-to choice for gloomy days, effortlessly pairing with any outfit to keep me both dry and fashionable.So, while I did appreciate the initial waterproof prowess and plush comfort of these boots, their durability left much to be desired. If only they could withstand the test of time as well as they did raindrops. I even bought two pairs in case the first pair was a lemon, but it happened both times.

Great boots
These boots are very comfortable. Nice arch support. They are very heavy duty and waterproof. Fit is true to size

Compré estas botas porque las vi recomendadas para invierno en Nueva York, sin embargo las botas son muy pesadas y si caminas mucho te duelen los pies. No son aptas para soportar frios extremos de -14ºC a lo mucho aguantan -3. No tienen buen ajuste porque no tienen agujetas o cierre, entonces el frio te entra por arriba y sí te resbalas en la nieve, la suele no tiene agarre. Honestamente por el precio están bien, pero creo que hay cosas mejores.

This is the second pair I purchased because I like the first pair so much, unfortunately they will split at the seam between the boot and the heel after about a year and I thought they would last much longer than that, both pairs have done this and then they cannot be worn because they leak. But for looks I give 5 stars, and for comfort 5 stars. Would rec if you don’t mind buying a pair every year.
