So pretty!For the price, the falling rain/snow/meteor (depending on color and your imagination) effect of these lights is fantastic. The lights fire in sequence down the tube, looking like a rain, snow or rainbow meteor shower. When you first turn them on, they are synced up, but the longer they remain lit, they fall out of sequence and fall into a pattern of falling rain, which looks very cool and unique.I would not recommend for outdoor use as others have stated, without additional protection for the ac adapter. Very nice and inexpensive lighting good for holiday, wedding, or just overall mood lighting.There many different sellers of this product which all seem to come from the same manufacturer. The only difference in them would be price and the quality of customer service of the vendor you choose to order from. I am happy purchasing these lights from this seller, they’ve done a good job.Edit 1: After using these lights (indoors only) for 4-6 hours/day 2-4 nights a week, one tube on the blue set has started to malfunction. The rest still work well and even in the malfunctioning tube the rain effect still works, albeit with some glitches (one light is burnt out and a few others half-fire like an echo). It could just be a rare glitch, LED lights aren’t perfect yet and the blue ones are most prone to malfunction out of any color (in my experience). My colored set is still working perfectly.Edit 2 (11/9/2016): After updating my review, the seller contacted me to offer a replacement at no additional cost to me. I was happy and surprised to be PROACTIVELY offered a replacement. That’s some pretty good customer service, I must say!I got the replacement today (It shipped in far less time than the 10-14 day estimate they gave me). The set lights up perfectly and works beautifully. I have noticed one change in the replacement over the old one. The ac adapter has been changed and it looks sturdier than the older model. I still would bet it is not waterproof and if you intend to use these lights outdoors, please use caution and protect the ac adapter from moisture, and make sure you secure the lights/wires safely if they will be exposed to high winds, as the electric cord is not very sturdy and the weight of the LED tubes can cause them to sway in a wind (causing potential damage to the wires). This is general common sense for ANY outdoor decorative lighting.I am setting up my holiday display for the season and am very happy I will be able to include the rain lights in my display. They really do look awesome.

Power Adapter sucks
The good:They look terrific, they gradually randomize over a few minutes of being powered up, easy to install, and seem fairly durable. They’re also bright!The mediocre:Be aware when daisy chaining them that there’s a “right” and “wrong” way around for the next set to connect. If they all go dim/stop working, flip the plug.The bad:The AC adapter plug is plain terrible, and is 100% not suitable for outdoor use no matter what the description says. It is laughably cheap feeling, has no gaskets of any kind and will fill with water after the first rain shower. Mine shorted out because of this and had to be replaced (I had a spare as I ordered two sets of lights and had daisy chained them). Before installing the second plug I sealed every seam on it with hot-glue and so far it has remained operational. If you’re going to use these outside you’ll need to either keep the plug covered from the elements (tricky if you’re installing these in a tree, as most people would!) or do some modifications to the plug itself like I did.

I like the twinkle effect. I wish they looked more like icicles close up for indoor use. They’re more tube like. But they are very bright and look great from far away. Seem to be good quality.

Pretty lights, some limitations
We bought 5 strands to connect together (max you can chain together per the manufacturer).The lights in the picture are spaced roughly 6â apart and look nice when lit up.Issues: I had some caps where the silicone was short-shot during manufacturing and did not complete the âhanging loopâ, which made hanging them a little more difficult.The tubes are also very light without any weight in the bottom, making hanging these to where they hang straight toward the ground also challenging.

These lights are amazing! We saw similar lights at an outdoor event and decided we had to have them. They lights were delivered on the date promised and we hung them that night. We love the way they look in the trees. They are so great I made a video of the lights and sent it to my sister and told her she needs to order some! Love these lights!We had a minor problem after the lights had been in our trees for about six weeks. One strand worked and the other strand quit working. I emailed the seller and asked for a replacement strand. The seller responded the same day and said they would send a replacement strand and asked me to send a video of the lights. I sent a video, the seller responded almost immediately and said we had the lights plugged in the wrong way. I guess when we took the plug off to bring it in the house during a rain storm we plugged it back in incorrectly. Quick and easy fix. I was really impressed with the seller’s quick responses. I will definitely be buying lights from them again!!
