Easy to use and scent easily lasted two days
These wrist bands are easy to use. They are individually packaged in ziplock bag. Keep the bag and store bands for reuse the next day. The scent was still very strong on the second day. For max protection we used a new band on the third day. We also used these in conjunction with picaridin skin spray and permethrin spray on our clothing. (We went on African safari). So I cannot fully vouch for the effectiveness of the wrist bands alone. That being said we did not even get a single bug bite during our two week trip. The essential oil was pleasant and not offensiveThe bands easily slipped over our wrist and did not fall off.Definitely worth the peace of mind.

A Must-Have for Mosquito-Free Cabin Trips!
We bought this product for a 5-day cabin trip in Georgia, and I am happy to say it worked perfectly! Not a single mosquito bite during our entire stay, which is impressive given the usual presence of bugs in the area. We were able to enjoy the outdoors without constantly swatting away mosquitoes, which made the trip so much more relaxing. The product was easy to use, and its coverage seemed to be very effective. Weâre confident it worked since we spent plenty of time outside, both during the day and at night, and came away bite-free. If youâre planning a trip to a mosquito-prone area, this is a must-have. Highly recommended!

Buy these for the kid or adult in your life always being attacked by mosquitos!
One of my children gets attacked by every mosquito out there even with bug spray. However, these are way more effective. I don’t have to chase to spray her and I have found them to be super effective if I put one on her wrist AND ankle. She has sensitive skin and these do not bother her. Plus, you just put them back on the bags they came in and reuse them many times. The smell isn’t too strong and the colors are fun! I even wear them as an adult.

Awesome bug repellent bracelets
So, first off, these are very practical as they stretch nicely to fit around wrists and ankles (as an adult). They smell nice, not too overwhelming, but definitely strong enough to scare off the biters. Nothing is perfect obviously, but we have started using these, as well as Cligantic candles, and some natural incense that contain bug repelling scents, on the deck when we go out. I donât want to have to spray myself with something, then go to bed wearing it. If you are hiking and planning a shower before bed, then adding sprays to the outside of clothing would probably help further. Still, we are finding our combo to be pretty effective as we were literally getting eaten up every time we went outside this summer (despite the drought here). We bought a set of 50 and each bracelet comes in its own re-sealable bag that will help maintain the bug repelling qualities. I love everything about this product and recommend it as a tool for helping minimize bug bites.

These bracelets work but with caveats. I got them because sometimes I want to take quick walks outside, but don’t want to put on sticky big spray and have to shower 2x a day because of the spray. Enter these bracelets.1st caveat: they fairly quickly decrease in efficacy, which makes me feel guilty for creating so much non compostable/recyclable waste relatively quickly. I have a neighbor with a swampy pool that causes a bunch of mosquitos in the neighborhood in the summer. Without the bracelets, I got 14 bites when going outside for 1 hour. With the bracelets (1st wear and one per limb), I got none.2nd caveat: I have found that I need 1 bracelet per limb in order to avoid bites. For a nighttime Joshua tree stargazing outing with a friend, we each only put one on and both got bit up like crazy. Later, I gave the bracelets another chance. I put one on each elbow and one on each knee. Wore them and then put them back in the pouches for later use. No bites. Used them a 2nd and 3rd time with no bites, but got 4 bites today with the 4th use, which indicates they’re at their effective end of life at around 3 or 4 wears.Overall, they work if you make sure you have a little citronella bubble around you by putting one on each limb, but they generate a relatively large amount of waste for the amount of protection they provide, and the protection itself can be spotty. If your only goal is to not use chemical spray on your skin, these bracelets meet it. If your goal is solely to not get bit, spray might be a better choice.

No bites
I was not sure about this product, as I am a buffet for insects, but I used 2 of these bands (one on my ankle, one on my wrist) when I went to the community fair at the local park. I figured that even if these bands did work, there would be limits and I would still get bittenâ¦so I was extremely surprised that even a few days later, I had no itchy bumps that formed.Iâm not a big outdoors person, so I figured the box would last me awhile anyway. As I mentioned, bugs love me, which makes warm nights with the windows open very difficult as well. As the package said these bands can last up to 10 days, I decided to get creative, and wrap one around my bedroom fan. I think it did the trick as I have not gotten any new night time bites since I brought it into my bedroom. The initial smell is very strong, but itâs a much easier option than the sticky sprays I hate using.

Works!!!
Itâs a strong scent, but I like it. I like essential oils, so thatâs also important to know regarding the scent. Just spraying my kid with bug spray wasnât helping (Cutters off, Deet free all natural spray, or some other kid spray) and he was getting eaten alive at the playground and park.So after reading these reviews, I got these Cliganic bracelets and the Murphyâs essential oil bug spray. put one on his arm and one on opposite leg, plus sprayed him all over with the Murphyâs essential oils bug spray. I did the same for myself when we went camping in a bug infested, swampy area. Amazing, it worked so well and we had no bites (we also sprayed the tent 48 hours in advance too). I didnât have to use the Deet or Picardin based sprays on my son, which I didnât feel comfortable with using on him yet.

Always hard to determine if these devices work – we never had any issues with insect bites – in Fiji, so as insurance highly recommended.
