Gorgeous and affordable cotton!
I LOVE this bedding. It is cheaper cotton, so upon first purchase it is going to be a bit stiff and scratchier. It is also not microfiber and will never be quite as soft or smooth as that, but is much better in every single other way (breathability, longevity, etc). That being said, it gets a TON softer when you use it consistently, as natural fibers tend to do. 6 months in, it’s pretty much as soft as the $150 percale sheets it’s paired with on our bed. The pattern has also not washed out and is as bright as the first day we got it!

Perfect Print and Material
This is a duvet cover, so you can put a feather comforter (or any comforter for that matter) inside and use this as the cover. We did that, but it was too hot in fall in NC for the extra warmth. The inside of the duvet cover has straps to tie to a duvet/comforter IF your duvet has those. Ours didn’t, so I tried to wrap them around the corners in some weird knot. It worked, and the comforter stayed put inside the cover, but I just thought that was awkward. In the end, I realized I had put my duvet in the cover in the wrong direction, so my long end of the duvet was in the shorter end of the comforter. I thought, “do I really want to untie those strings I just tied inside this thing?” Like I mentioned, it was too hot anyway, so we took it out. (When it gets colder, I’ll be a bit wiser next time and use a tape measure on the duvet and comforter to save time.) The weight without a comforter inside is still good. It’s not really heavy, but it’s heavy enough where we don’t feel like we’re just sleeping under a sheet. And it’s reallllly pretty. The fabric has an understated sheen and feel. It’s very luxurious. Usually, I buy things that complement the decor, but this was a little different. I really fell in love with the pattern and colors. Now, I’m trying to look around my house at my wall hangings and pictures to try and match it better for our bedroom. I guess once in a while, something comes along that just makes you happy.

Very beautiful feminine print
I loved the print and the feel of the fabric BUT the duvet ties inside are made of a satiny ribbon that comes untied very easily. So I’m constantly having to retie them because I don’t want to tie a knot that I won’t be able to undo when it needs to be washed.

Gorgeous Tropical Design
If I wanted a soft duvet cover I would have purchased a fluffy microfiber one. I like that this duvet cover is sturdy cotton with a bold design. It really is a showpiece for the bedroom. It washed and dried well and has ties inside the corners for securing the duvet if yours has loops. The zipper is sewn with a generous fabric overlay so it won’t get caught in the fabric. The pillow cases are okay, generously cut. Shams would have been a little nicer, but that would have driven up the cost. The tropical leaves design has many compatible colors, light blue, navy, medium blue, aqua, forest green, lime green, teal, orange, yellow and white, of course, for sheets.

So pretty! Good quality. Fits my duvet perfectly.
