A Quality upgrade to the echo show series of Amazon Alexa products
I bought this product to replace an echo show that Iâve had for nearly 7 years. The old units display with occasionally flicker and I knew it was time for a new one. I am thoroughly pleased with the echo show 8. First off, the increased display size is a welcome change to my aging eyes. It is easier to see and the touchscreen easier to use. I used the option to link the device to my Amazon account, which made set up a breeze when the unit arrived. The sound quality is improved over previous versions. I also ordered the stand that comes with the USB-C port, which is extremely convenient. I am thoroughly pleased with the echo show 8. If there is a drawback, it is that I see more advertisements then I would like. I have the photo display option selected in my settings, and I do not see my photos near as often as I did on my old device. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with the performance of this product. I recommend it.

Love this, donât see how we lived without them before. Super easy to set up, connect, troubleshoot if somethings not connecting right. The family games are super fun and the speaker to play music is amazing for how small it is. I love the slideshow of all the pictures of my family. Great quality, value for your money and performance.

absolutely perfect!
I am a senior and on a fixed budget. I received birthday money and was able to purchase this Echo. It goes beyond what I expected! The sound of the bass for my music is better than my sound bar! that’s such a great surprise for me! It has made my life just a bit easier, and I enjoy saying hi to Alexa. Streaming movies does not offer the clearest of pictures but still a nice screen and sound level. I do wish there was an on-screen shortcut button to put the screen black or to use the screensaver but I must ask Alexa to do those. Just takes a bit longer so no deal breaker! I have all of my daily apps and silk provides the things I need from the web. This is a great purchase and worth the money. Wish America could make these products.

First of all I’m am a Alexa fanatic. I tell everyone about them and all the lovely features. I gave this Alexa as a house warming gift for my cousin and he loved it. It’s very easy to use and has lots of different things to help you throughout the day. The screen is a nice size and the sound is nice and loud. The price wasn’t too bad either. I love the alexa and so far have lifted quite a few to different family members. As well as told them about several of the features and how if you have multiple of these you can use them as an intercom system throughout your home like I do. Especially since I have a few different types of Alexa, Alexa add-ons and tvs from their brand. So I if I “announce” something it rings everywhere. Also so many rountines you can set individually for each person and dont get me started on hownu can sync all the speakers together and the music you play from there will play everywhere if you request to do so. I love Alexa so much I call her my sister girl lol. I wish I could be some sort of ambassador for them.

I bought this thinking it would work as a nice hub for my security camera system and to get me to finally commit to buying Amazon devices for my home.I am now thinking that I made a huge mistake. I want to like this, but it’s terrible. It’s very slow to respond and nonstop ads and unnecessary visual items like sports or news.I wish I had not purchased this and instead got something Apple or Google based.I imagine that this negative feeling is factored into the fact that they’re pumping tons of ads into households across the country, so for those less bothered it will satisfy Amazon’s desire to earn advertisement revenue, but the execution is poor.The laggy device means I’ll never select an advertisement or care. Secondly, I don’t want to see ads in my kitchen. Finally, if this feature was more controllable and the device more customizable, then maybe, but it’s not.I’m only keeping it until I find something better and then I’ll never buy another Amazon smart home product againThe device’s main purpose is to show you ads and to listen to your conversations, identify things inside your home that you use or might need. It’s secondary purpose is to serve as a slideshow for photos, sports, and news. The clock and weather are tertiary and anything else comes after those aforementioned tasks.I’m only giving it five stars so that my review isn’t buried. It’s more of a 3 stars if it was customizable, and 4 stars if it wasn’t laggy, but it’s really 2 stars because of the ads. Sounds great, looks good, but slow and full of ads.

Es un artÃculo muy estético, elegante y demasiado funcional. La pantalla es muy vistosa, el sonido está de 100. Le puedes agregar fotografÃas de la familia, puedes bajar Spotify, Amazon music y vincular con Netflix. Además puedes comprar enchufes inteligentes y vincularlos para apagar o encender tus aparatos. Ya tenia la segunda generación, esta que es la tercera Gen., mejora el sonido y la percibo mas rapida que la anterior, en lo demas es igual, bastante buen dispositivo este Echo Show 8.En las fotos se puede observar que puedes acceder a Youtube y a netflix con el comando de Alexa âpon Youtubeâ al igual que netflix.Como ounto negativo, diria que la pantalla no es amoled, creo XD. Pero estabdo en mi cuarto en la noche con todo apagado, no molesta su brillo de pantalla, su brillo automático funciona bastante bien!!

Bien a secas. Es un dispositivo Alexa que hace lo que ya sabes que hace. Si tienes un ecosistema Alexa para sacarle jugo está bien. En casa tengo 3 Alexas ahora y mi único problema es que, si quieres que las 3 puedan oÃr música diferente, debes pagar el plan familiar de Amazon Misic Unlimited, de lo contrario no podrás con ningún otro servicio (terminé pagando Amazon Music más mi Spotify). La bocina, si la ubicas en un buen lugar suena bien, a secas. Tengo un Apple HomePod mini y suena mejor la verdadâ¦
