How to Connect My Smart Plug?

Fast Setup !
I used to have the Gosund plugs . They no longer worked with my new Router . Ordered these because they said compatible with 5G network . Got them and downloaded Smart Home app. They connected super fast to my internet and also easily connected to my Alexa device. I can now control lights with my voice again! Just remember to hit that pencil icon and rename the light what you want to say to Alexa . For example when adding them they always just have numbers and letters for type of plug . Hit that icon and rename it to say BEDROOM LIGHT . Then when connected with Alexa .. you can simply say Alexa turn on bedroom light . Alexa turn off bedroom light etc . All lights must be named separately . They work well and set up was super easy . I put in 8 of them in less than 30 minutes! Great buy ! Hope they stay on internet and work well . Will come back and review again after Iâve had a while .

Super easy to install. After trying 2 other similar devices that just wouldn’t work, these are plug and play. Works great with smart life app which is my preferred smart app. Use with fans, lamps and some other things.

Easy to set up and use!
Purchased these remote plugs, in order to control a few items that are located in inconvenient locations. They were SUPER easy to configure. Just downloaded the app, plugged each one into an outlet and the app immediately found it. Added it to the app and it could be immediately controlled. Could ask for a simpler installation. Next step will be to integrate them with Amazon’s Alexa.

Worked flawlessly with my “smart” wifi!
Last year, my internet provider provided me with a new ” smart” wifi router that was great until I realized it made my entire house full of 2.4ghz smart plugs become instantly obsolete, as well as several 2.4ghz multicolor lamps that I own. This particular router did not provide a way to separate the 5ghz from the 2.4ghz and to say that I was upset would be a huge understatement. So I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to produce smart devices that run on both. Awhile back, I bought some plugs that claimed to, but after getting them, they actually used a Bluetooth connection instead of an actual wifi connection and they were a wast of Money. They never ever stayed connected And they were junk. These however, are absolutely excellent! My wifi found them easily and installed them without a problem at all and they integrated with alexa and Amazon echo flawlessly and work perfectly. So glad they came out with these! ð

Plug already failing
Already having issue with the relay on one plug. Plug turns off but power continues to the item plugged in. I have several smart plugs in my home, this is the only brand that has failed.Update!! Changing stars from 1 to 4 syar review! The vendor noticed my review and sent a replacement. I had forgotten how easy these are to set up 🙂 Thank you Eightree for the wonderful customer service!!

Best Kept Secret That Can Save You MONEY When Shopping For Smart Wireless WiFi Switches!
I have over 120 internet of things smart devices operating on the WiFi mesh routers and have used MANY smart WiFi switches over the last five years, but most if not all are 2.4GHz. I decided to give this 5GHz switch a try knowing that the range would be less than the 2.4GHz one. Guess what? The 2.4GHz band is way too congested. Not only does this device have as good a range as the 2.4, but it actually operates and function much more efficiently! A word of caution before you order; BE SURE THAT THE DEVICE YOU ORDER DOES BOTH 2.4 AND 5GHz! Sometimes when shopping for the lowest price, you may choose in error a similar look-alike item that ONLY does 2.4GHz and not both frequencies.

Solved 2.4 GHz WiFi Issue
Upgraded my wifi router . Old had separate 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bandwidths to choose from. New one is smart and chooses for me. A real pain to connect 25 devices, many 2.4 GHz only. My 4 – 2.4 GHz wall socket switched devices would not connect. At all. These are 5.0 GHz capable. The setup app took a few minutes for each, but setup was easy. Control of the plugs linked simply to my Google Home and Nest wifi and products. Quality is very good. Done.
