These plugs are easy to install on your phone ,and can be turned on and off f4om your devise if you dont want go through the hassle of walking to each plug ,it works very well I would definitely recommend anyone to buy them

Easy to use, but bad for your personal privacy
I bought this plug to turn on my coffee maker in the morning. It was easy to set up and it works well for my purpose. This is the first bit of home automation I’ve installed. I was surprised by how much information it wanted. Before I could activate the smart plug, I had to let the app use my exact location and I had to enter my home WiFi password.

When they work, they work well, but…
One of the Smart Plug 4 pack failed immediately. It switches on, but stays on regardless of the app or the manual switch. 25% failure rate is costing this product 3 stars.
This would only earn a single star, but wide application compatibility kept the second star hanging by a thread.
Update 8/24/24: Upon diving deeper into the problem I experienced with this plug, I found ultimately the plug is unable to handle the momentary high inrush current associated with higher power audio equipment, and will cause the plug to hang in the ‘on’ position.
Eightree customer service made this right so I am revising this review from 2 stars to 4 stars.

So good for the money
I recently converted a lamp in my room into a smart lamp by plugging it into an EIGHTREE Smart Plug. Here’s my experience:
Easy Setup: The EIGHTREE Smart Plug was a breeze to set up. Downloaded the Smart Life app, plugged in the smart plug, and followed the app’s instructions. It took just a couple of minutes.
Smart Lamp Control: Now I can control my lamp from anywhere using the Smart Life app. No more getting up in the middle of the night to turn it off!
Voice Control: The EIGHTREE Smart Plug integrates with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. I can now say “Hey Google, turn on my bedside lamp” and voila! Having voice control is a nice touch.
Timer Function: One of the features I enjoy most is the ability to set schedules. I have a routine where the lamp turns on at sunset and dims or turns off at bedtime.
Affordability: Compared to other smart plug options, the EIGHTREE Smart Plug is a budget-friendly choice.
To consider: Limited Wi-Fi Compatibility, the EIGHTREE Smart Plug only works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

Easy to use quick
Took me less than 5 min to install with a swag grow light and set up a schedule . Extremely impressive. Only draw back is that it is bulky and catches dust. Will be buying more. Works with Alexa.

UPDATE TO MY UPDATE: After buying a very well known, much loved brand of plugs, I ordered my second box of this product. My decision was definitely based on their customer support but also, I bought them because the one I have left from the original box is the best plug in my house and so easy to use!
UPDATE: I received an email from the seller apologizing for any inconvenience and offering to either replace the product or refund my purchase costs. We corresponded until they felt i was entirely satisfied and I felt as if they really cared about their customers. I would do business with them again.
I bought a pack with 4 smart plugs for a very reasonable price. I wish I hadn’t. The old adage that “if it looks too good to be true, it probably is really fits my situation. When I got them, three out of four worked. Six weeks later, one out of four still works and i am quite disheartened. .

Scam – does not work with alexa UPDATE does work but still not easy
I truly donât know why people are saying this works with Alexa. I downloaded the instructions and set up a âsmart lifeâ app as instructed. It was able to pair to that app but I wanted one that pairs with Alexa. The ad says it does and Alexa endorsed it but it does not pair. These plugs have some sort of identity crisis as they say âeight treeâ on packaging but you have to use the smart life app and it identifies as zygbee. When trying to pair with Alexa by name it indicated that zygbee needs some sort of âhubâ to work. So I have to buy something else?? I would not call this easy to work with Alexa. I then unpaired it from the âsmartâ life app and deleted that app entirely. I tried to pair it directly from the Alexa app but there is no âeight treeâ there. When asking Alexa to find the device It did pair up 6 different brother printers through my echo that is at work. Meanwhile, Iâm at home and the eight tree device is 6 inches from my phone and yes, in pairing mode. What a waste of time.
UPDATE: when I went to return these they sent a video on how to fix the issue in settings in the app. However, I would still say itâs not easily integrated with Alexa. So far everything works ok now, so I will not be returning them due to the hassle.

Reliably operates from both the Smart Life app and third-party smart home apps, quick response.
Does make a noticeable click when switching on/off regardless of load, but not enough to be bothersome. Fairly small and easy to fit in tight spaces, just make sure nothing can accidentally press the button on the plug.
Setup is simple via the app, might need to try more than once sometimes when setting the plug up for the very first time, unplugging and plugging back in can help fix issues. May get better performance if 2.4GHz WiFi isn’t noisy from many devices using it nearby.
Doesn’t have built-in power measurement, limited power measurement currently available within Smart Life by measuring how long the plug is on for a day which is ok, but not suitable if you want something more accurate/detailed.
Good for the cost if on sale or with instant savings, buy a 4-pack for the best value if you have more devices you may want to use with smart plugs later.
Note that the plugs are rated for a max of 1100 watts, a little bit less than 10A at 120V.

Relación precio calidad sobresaliente, compre las 4 piezas y todas funcionan muy bien. Las tengo instaladas en ventiladores y luces y se integran a la perfección en la app de Alexa, solamente es dar nombre adecuado a cada contacto, por ejemplo “ventilador sala”, “luces de patio” y no tendrán ningún problema

Great product. Easy setup. If the automatic detection does not work immediately, remove it and plug it in again and the quick flashing lights will work and then your network will be discoverable. Very flexible app – easy to rename plugs and to create schedules.
Downside: You cannot plug in another appliance into an outlet next to one of these plugs. It is simply to large and you end up losing that second outlet. So you might lose that second outlet because this plug is just bulky enough. An outlet adapter would be needed.
Still: I’d buy more of these products. The app is simple to use, the plug is working well – after a few weeks.
