Great battery
The rechargeable powerbank stands out as an exceptional product in its category. Its waterproof feature offers peace of mind, ensuring that it can withstand various environmental conditions, making it an ideal companion for outdoor adventures and travel. One of the most notable aspects of this powerbank is its ease of use. The straightforward design allows users to operate it without any complications. Additionally, the powerbank charges devices swiftly, which is a crucial factor for those who are constantly on the go and need a reliable power source. However, while the powerbank excels in many areas, there is a minor drawback. The batteries are not serviceable, which may inconvenience users who prefer the option of replacing or servicing the batteries to extend the product’s lifespan.

Super Durable
The ELECOM NESTOUT Portable Charger is a really good choice for anyone who like the outdoors are traveling. The 15000mAh, this power bank has is designed to keep your devices charged and ready to go wherever you are.The 15000mAh capacity of the NESTOUT is more than sufficient to keep multiple devices powered up on a single charge. During my time in the woods, this power bank consistently provided ample power for my iphone and garmin watch. I could easily charge my smartphone multiple times without worrying about running out of juice. The NESTOUT’s compact and lightweight design makes it highly portable, fitting comfortably into backpacks, pockets, and purses. Its slim profile allows for easy storage and retrieval, making it a convenient choice for those always on the move.It is equipped with fast charging technology. The NESTOUT delivers rapid charging speeds for compatible devices. This feature significantly reduces charging times. I found that it charged my devices faster compared to other power banks I have used in the past, which is a great advantage when you’re limited on time. The NESTOUT features two USB-A ports, allowing simultaneous charging of multiple devices. This feature is especially useful when traveling with a companion or when you have multiple devices that need charging. The built-in LED indicator also displays the remaining battery level, providing a convenient way to monitor the power bank’s status and plan accordingly. The NESTOUT exhibits a sturdy build quality, ensuring its durability and resistance to everyday wear and tear. It can handle outdoor activities.Overall, the ELECOM NESTOUT Portable Charger offers a good combination of power, portability, and convenience. With its ample capacity, quick charging technology, and multiple ports, it proves to be a reliable charger for keeping your devices powered up while on the go. I’d definitely recommend to anyone asking.

Great addition to my backpacking gear
Feels durable, looks cool too.Just used this for the first time last weekend while backpacking 31 miles in the Bighorns. Was able to charge my Apple Watch once, my phone twice (from about 50%), and my flashlight twice before it needed charging. Recharged it with the Nestout solar panel and it took about 4 hours. Preformed way better than anticipated.

Treated Like Dirt- keeps doing it’s thing
This is a (relatively) light camping power bank that redlines ‘burly’ & ‘reliability’ design inside & out over more sophisticated features. In the field the USB-A “gear-mode” feature keeps low-powered Li-ion & non-self-powered devices running for about 2-4 days/10-13hrs max (depending on heavy night-use). It can fully charge a smartphone about 2-3 times: but using the fast-charge C-port on any power-hungry device cuts into that “gear-mode” performance significantly. The ‘canteen’ body design does indeed take a good hit & keep moisture out- the simple screwtop lid solution being about the best port protection out there. It’s about the only bank I’d really trust taking to humid environments, a saltwater beach, or a boat on a regular basis.Anecdotal, but impact-wise this thing & a flashlight were the only devices to survive/function without a hitch after a recent bike crash- including a now-wrecked phone with a heavy-duty case. (and my poor ribs) If you’re hiking or on the move the 12oz/345g pack-weight isn’t ideal given the specs, but I find it preferable to a 1-2+lb brick or slightly lighter banks that might fail. For casual EDC, given the weight & C-port aspect: you might want to look elsewhere. Do keep in mind with any “rugged” electronic device you’re always paying extra in both money & weight for cheap TPU bumpers, o-rings, & hardened plastic instead of more high-performance chips & other hardware features.

Solid battery. Read the instructions! Well worth the money. Sharpie required!
Purchased along with a 14W foldable panel from the same brand. I was blown away by the fact that the little 14W panel was able to keep this battery and my cell phone charged for 2 weeks straight while it sat indoors in a southern facing window with partial sunlight. The pair exceeded expectations on cloudy days. That said, I made a mistake. While the battery had no issues in my tests, there are a few shortcomings. Sometimes it doesn’t turn on. Sometimes it doesn’t turn off. While the on/off feature is pretty good for the target audience, I twice in the next week noticed it stay on and discharge itself with nothing plugged in.Second, the “in” vs “out” port are virtually identical from the standpoint of, say, a camper alone in the dark at night. I am adding some GlowInTheDark orings to the neck of the OUT port, and sharpie marking instructions on the case.Third, the on/off button, and the IN port are getting strips of GID tape as arrows to them.During a power outage (extended) I directed someone to use this to charge their phones. Having verified it CAN keep a phone on for days, even without sun, I assumed all would be well. They were pre-modifications-unable to get the battery functional, and in the process managed to completely discharge it, AND were unable to recharge it from a generator.I’m buying a second one, and one of their smaller ones; but all are going to get marked up and everyone trained on how to use them.
