The best smart devices + app I have found
I bought an ELEGRP smart dimmer switch for our kitchen. I loved the quality of the device, what was included and, most important, the functionality in the app. I have since bought 3 more dimmer switches, 3 smart switches, 2 of these smart plugs and finally 4 of the standalone smart plugs. They are all excellent and I now have all of the smart stuff in one app. I can put outdoor lights on timers or schedules with ease and also control them while outside. I also like how easy it is to add family members to also access the app.

Wi-Fi won’t connect despite carefully following all instructions
very disappointing. The app is actually made by the same company that made the BN-LINK app. And both of these fail to connect to a WiFi network that all other outlets work with.

Simple install, kind of a tight fit on an old single-gang box
Installs just like a normal plug, no variation or tricks at all. The entire thing is a tight fit and the plate doesn’t sit quite right on a single-gang box in my 100+ year old home, but fit it does and work it does. There are really no tricks here, just wire it up, download the app, and syncing it up with your Alexa or Google is fairly self-explanatory.

Works well, but wanted to use locally with home automation, so I decided to use openbeken firmware. Was able to flash without any desoldering, but did have to make a jig with some pogopins to do the flashing.

Family loves this new addition to our home
These are easy to install. -take out old outlet, put in this outlet, download app, sync with app, sync with Alexa, and say turn on! Lights, chargers, or anything else that you have plugged in turn on. You can also schedule things to come on, like a lizard light that we turn on every morning.

Installs like a regular outlet with a smart feature
This dual outlet smart receptacle fits into a normal blue box for easy installation. I would think most people could install this without needing an electrician. The bonus is that it can be controlled by any smartphone out there today and voice with Alexa. Having a outlet like this enables you to control lights that would normally have any smart function and eliminates the need for bulky add ons. It also has a scheduling function which I haven’t tried yet but it’s there when you need it.
