Eassy to install, works great, and REALLY helps secure a door
This door lock is solid metal, flawlessly manufactured, heavy-duty, easy to install, and easy to use. I installed mine about a foot from the bottom of the door. A new trend I’ve seen is where burglars will stand with their back to your door and kick backward really hard at the bottom of the door. This causes a twisting/shearing motion on the door that will rip it out of the frame with just a few good kicks.If you already have a good deadbolt and you install this lock down low, anyone trying to kick in your door is gonna have a bad time…10/10 would buy again.

Love this but it broke after 2 weeks of use.
Love this but it broke after 2 weeks of use – became extremely difficult to open. Had to remove from door as it was taking 3 to 4 minutes to get it to finally open. That said, it was easy to use for first two weeks and seemed very solid/secure. Had this not broken so quickly, I would have given it 5 stars.UPDATE: BOUGHT A 2ND ONE. IT’S BEEN 2 WEEKS AND NO ISSUES YET.

Sturdy door lock. There is a bit of bulk to it so if there is a frame surrounding your door it might not fit installing on the sides. We had this issue but were able to install on top of the door without issue. The mechanism for unlocking takes some getting used to, but not a big problem. Firmly holds doors in place when engaged.Installation was easy. There are four screws. One of the screw holes is elongated which allows you to adjust the positioning of the lock. Put this screw in first! You’ll likely need to adjust the depth that the lock sits into the door to ensure it is flush with the door when engaged.
