My husband loves these gloves. They help him keep a good grip on his phone when needed, are great for cooler weather, & will be perfect liners for mittens this winter.

Nice Gloves
DEXTERITY: As with every other pair of winter gloves I’ve worn, I can definitely feel the seams in these, and I originally worried they might have too big an impact on my dexterity, but they’re actually fairly nimble. They certainly make my fingers thicker, but while they may slow me down a bit, I found that tying my shoes, typing on a keyboard, and even texting while wearing them are all quite possible. Touch typing is maybe a bit more cumbersome than it’s worth, with me struggling to maintain my orientation since my fingers are a little too fat to rest one-to-a-key, but maybe on a bigger keyboard or with a bit more practice, the gloves would provide less of an impediment. As it is though, hunt-and-peck is a lot easier. Not that I foresee having to type a lot while wearing gloves, but it gives you some idea of their capability.Texting is the more important task, and it’s something I can do surprisingly well. For a longer message, I might be tempted to use my index fingers rather than my thumbs, or forgo the gloves entirely for a back-and-forth conversation of length, but especially for something I’m not used to doing, things went a lot better than I would’ve guessed. I would not have been at all surprised if texting was pretty much impossible, and it’s not something the description even talked about, so I consider it a bonus. It’s currently summer, so I don’t have occasion to properly test the thermal capabilities of the gloves, but I was excited enough at the concept that wanted to snag them while I had the chance. I have some fingerless leather gloves I normally resort to using when I need fine manipulation skills or to be able to interact with my phone, but while they’re better than nothing, they’re wholly inadequate when it’s really cold. These should be a vast improvement. I will say that I feel like there could be a bit more insulation on the back of the hands, since that wouldn’t impede dexterity.SIZE: When choosing size, I erred on the side of my gloves being a bit snug, figuring a tighter fit would be important for dexterity (certainly trying to text with with too much excess material in the fingers seems like it’d be challenging). To be fair, I’m a lot closer to a men’s small/women’s medium than a size up anyway. The sizing table included in the pictures gives the measurement for S/M gloves at 3.23″ for the middle finger and 7.87″ for palm circumference. My middle finger measures almost exactly 3″, and I think the glove would need to be about a millimeter longer for an absolutely perfect fit (though it’s a pretty nice one as is), so the 3.23″ figure seems a bit too big. My palm circumference is very close to the 7.87″ measurement given, and it seems about right (though the palms are slightly puffy because the thumb could probably use a couple more millimeters before it joins the hand portion the glove). In terms of the length of the gloves on my wrists, I think having another quarter inch until the seam with the softer sleeve would be ideal, but this is the least important of the dimensions to get precisely right, and it’s okay as it is. Overall, the gloves aren’t individually tailored for me, and the fit is about as good as one could reasonably expect.

very thoughtful design, rubbery dots in all the right surfaces for gripping, great fit
This is a sweet pair of cool weather gloves that will keep my hands warm enough in cool weather, and this provide me with the sensitivity to use a mobile phone. The fabric used on the index finger tip and on the thumb tip easily swipes across the glass screen on my phone and gets the desired response. The touch response is as good as if I use my bare fingers or bare thumb. I do not need to take off my gloves. The glove has proper and expected sizing. These provide me with a snug and cozy fit. If you have very meaty or muscled hands, you might find these too tight. The 100% polyester material means that when I grip or grasp something, a steering wheel, a pull up bar outside, unlike a knit glove the squeezing action does not create tiny spaces for the cold to seep in. At the same type, it means this fabric material has limited ability to stretch and expand. I like that the cuff is very long, that will definitely keep my wrists warm. This fabric has a slight fuzz on the inner surface for warmth. This will not be that warming for very cold under 10 degrees F. In such conditions, I would wear a large mitten over these gloves , and still reap the benefits of not having to bare my hands to extreme cold if I want to use my phone camera.

Warm and comfortable with no-slip grip
These FanVince gloves are comfortable and warm. I ordered the large size because my palm size is about 8.5 inches. They fit okay. As can be seen in the photo, when I tried spreading my fingers wide the fabric kind of twists in a weird way. The other thing that is strange is that there is a seam that runs up through the middle of the palm of the glove, which I can feel with the palm of my hand. The gloves do allow you to use touch screens without having to take off the gloves. They also have a silicon paint applied (the grey dot patterns) to provide extra gripping power while wearing the gloves.Overall, I will probably keep using my leather gloves when it gets really cold, but these are a nice pair of light weight gloves that will keep my hands and fingers warm when winter sets in again.

Not too bad
I bought these early, it’s not winter yet so I can’t give them a proper test just yet. However, I did as much testing as possible right now like blowing compressed air at my knuckles for a little while, I don’t feel a thing. I got these gloves so I could ride my E-scooter in the winter months without freezing my hands, and that compressed air test is a good way to see if air will bleed through, and it does not! They’re about as thick as other gloves I’ve used that were plenty warm, and combined with the air resistance, this should do a good job keeping your hands warm in the cold weather. I’ll report back this winter when it gets ridiculously cold outside and share my thoughts then. For now, they’re comfortable, easier than most to take off and put on with its stretchy wrist area. Also, being that I have to carry my scooter on and off a train and through doors and such, the grip material seems to be in just the right places to help me with that.Good gloves, not too thin, not too thick, but surely just right for cold weather.
