Good fit and is very warm!
This is a great looking skirt. I got it to wear over jeans when i have on a shorter winter jacket on. It is very warm! It has a different fabric on the sides which is stretchy and has a cell phone pocket! The stretch part of the skirt really makes it fit nicely and it doesnât bunch up in the front. It fits nice from top to bottom. The zip up feature is awesome! Wasnât sure if I would like that but it makes getting the skirt on amd off a breeze. I am 5â2â so the skirt goes to a few inches above the knee. Perfect length of wearing over yoga pants or jeans.

Wind blocker
I like it as a layer under sweaters to wear with regular tights.

Sides arenât stretchy
I really like this skirt for wearing over windproof leggings while snowshoeing or xc skiing. It fits true to size. Iâm 5â5â 150 lbs and bought a large. Itâs pretty short, but thatâs good so it allows range of movement of my legs and keeps my butt warm. Itâs not super thick but is insulated and seems windproof. The zippers are cool and make it easy on/off. The only drawback I can see is the side panels are a nice somewhat stretchy fabric, but the skirt is lined with nylon that isnât stretchy, so the skirt doesnât have any stretch. You can unzip a little from the bottom to allow legs more movement, but I wanted it to be a little stretchy so itâs comfortable to sit and move a lot. Overall happy with it.

Cute!
What a great idea! I would have never known to search for something like this- I just happened to see it while scrolling. It fits well and is perfect to throw on over some tights to dress up your outfit a bit.

Interesting, but snug
This skirt offers an intriguing design that winterizes a short skirt.Insulated like a light puffer jacket, this skirt also has a side zipper that can be used to completely open the skirt up.That is easily my favorite design feature of the skirt.I can put this on by simply wrapping it around my waist and zipping it closed/down; yet it feels perfectly secure when zipped into place. That makes popping it off and on for any reason extremely easy and quick. What I liked less about this skirt is that I feel it runs quite small. Not only would I say this runs small, I would say the smaller than labelled size is a bigger problem for this particular skirt because of how you would wear it.To use this in cold weather, you are going to want to pair it with some form of tights, which are going to add a thicker layer than you would wear under most skirts.Even if you were not wearing tights for warmth, the skirt is quite short, so you will most likely want them for modesty’s sake.Considering that, this skirt should ideally be cut with a looser, not tighter, fit.If you get a size that is too loose, I suppose this might not work as activewear, but based on my experience, I would still order at least one size up.I think there is potential in this design.I personally like to hike in skirts and could see this a a great choice for fall and spring walks, hikes, or even just casual running around.I do like the full zip open and insulated design features, but feel it won’t appeal to everyone, simply based on the combination of a cold weather design and a short skirt. If it does appeal to you, I believe the quality is decent; you just have to get the right fit.

A bit on the thin side
I really like that this skirt has zippers on the sides, as I want to be able to unzip the skirt slightly when Iâm playing pickleball and am in more of a squat or lunge position. I wish that the full zip side offered a dual sided zip, as itâs slightly awkward to zip it on from a fully open position. You have to hold the skirt in place at your hips and struggle a bit to get the zipper inserted. Whereas, a double sided zipper makes it much easier to zip on, because you will be zipping up from the bottom, rather than zipping down from the top as youâre holding the skirt together at your hips. My other issue with this skirt is that it has pretty minimal padding in the puffy areas. My other puffy skirts have more puff in the puffy areas, if that makes sense. Since Iâm ordering this for outdoor pickleball in cold temps, I prefer a bit more insulation as opposed to a bit less.I will use this skirt, but I probably wouldnât order this in other colors or reorder it because of the issues I mentioned. I like it, but it could be a bit more functional, for my preference.
