Great for flour impurities
Most people do not sift their flour before use. Weevils and other critters can make their way into your flour. I always sift first. This sifter is so well made and easy to clean. Best of all it is also fun! Works very quickly also. Improves flour texture as well for all recipes. Very inexpensive as well!!!

I loved the one my mom used to have so was excited to find this one, but I found it does not work as great as my mom’s used to. But it does work, and is easy to use. Brings back memories. 🙂

Tiny but mighty!
Looked all around for a small sifter. My old sifter (30 years old) eventually rusted and had to be thrown away. This sifter is much smaller…holds about 2 cups of flour…but that’s all you need for any normal baking event. It’s a great size and works beautifully. Would recommend to anyone.

Broke with first use
This seemed like a good old standard sifter, nothing to it. Price was what I would pay elsewhere. Unfortunately, this thing broke the first time I used it. I put one cup of AP flour in it, depressed the handle, it sifted once. When I depressed the sifting mechanism the second time, it stuck… And stayed there. I emptied the flour into my other strainer, finished sifting the flour for my cake , and tried to fix the sifter. The part that turns was actually lifted and pushing it back down didn’t help. As soon as I pushed the sifting handle, it lifted and got stuck again. While the price is comparable to what’s already out there, the quality is trash. I paid $2 more and got a crank one at Publix. This will be going into the recycling.

Mechanism jams – update
The lever gets stuck because the mechanism jams. Poorly made. Update 3/21/2024: This seller is very customer service oriented. We were quite surprised to receive an unsolicited offer from them to refund the purchase price of the product. It is very refreshing to know that they have integrity and will stand behind the products they sell. Seller is highly recommended, for ensuring customer satisfaction.
