Beautiful muted blue frame
This frame with mat was purchased to hold a gifted picture. It came perfectly as described, packed well with protection to keep the glass & construction from damage. It was a beautiful muted blue wash with the woodgrain still visible. Perfect as I wished. Has hanging hardware, is lightweight, but sturdy. My gift recipient loved it.

I like paint by number. I needed a frame for my most recent painting. This is a very nice, well made frame. Good weight. Not too much frame. Ill be buying more of these. Its hard to fine well made products these days. This is very nice.

Very solid frame, itâs got some weight to it, so it wonât be going anywhere. Great quality and looks very nice. Replaced an old basic frame with this one and it makes the picture look so much better.

Simple Frame that does not Distract
This is my 2nd Frametory, 11×14 Black Picture Frames. I accidentally bumped the first one and it fell off the wall and broke.It broke! So why did I buy a 2nd one?!The frame fell from about 7 feet and yes, the wood split at two of the corners, but the glass did not break and the picture inside was not damaged. In a way the frame took all of the energy from the impact, sacrificing itself but saving the picture. I do not have carpet, I have hardwood floors so I was impressed that the glass did not even chip and I was very relieved that the picture was not damaged as it was a gift from an old friend and not replaceable.Amazon has a section here asking about the craftsmanship and giftability of this frame.For craftsmanship I would say it is average for a mass produced picture frame. Four pieces of wood/wood-composite moulding, regular matboard, pressboard/chipboard backing board, and the glass. It does not have a hand crafted look to it but I wasn’t expecting one for the price. It doesn’t look or feel cheap. It has a hefty feel to it, I believe mostly from the weight of the glass.I like a simple black frame that does not take away from the work it is framing. This is exactly that.As for giftability, maybe, but not as just a frame. As a frame to display a photo or painting or other artwork you are giving as a gift, yes, I would recommend this frame for that type of gift.In the end, I have bought two of these Frametory, 11×14 Black Picture Frames and multiple purchases of the same item is the best recommendation I can give.
