Satisfactory product
I am satisfied with these, they do the job. Not sure what additional features the more expensive ones offer, but these protect your legs just fine. They are made of quite heavy nylon (I think) that will easily stop any thorns or branches, the rubber straps seem rugged too. The Velcro is wide and tough enough that they are a bit difficult to remove, if anything. It’s a little awkward trying to put them on, to get them lined up right before the Velcro starts to stick together, but I’m not sure how that can be avoided unless you used a totally different style of fastener. They have a little drawstring on the top with a metal(!) spring adjuster, but honestly they drawstring and foot straps seem redundant for most uses. They seem to work just fine without either. They are probably not exactly waterproof, but I have been out snowshoeing in snow, trudging though soaking wet snow and slush in the rain, pushing through brambles and branches, and my pants have always been totally dry and clean when I get home, which is a nice change for me. So they are essentially waterproof, I’m usually soaked from the knee down. They aren’t bad looking either, as these things go. I’m not a fan of bright synthetics (red plaid is acceptable) but the olive drab green of these is a nice understated tone that is suitable for many uses and outfits, and the mud and grime won’t stand out like it does on brighter materials. The logo on the side is unobtrusive as well.The only complaints I have are that I agree with a previous review in that it would be nice to have a way to secure the end of the strap so it isn’t just sticking out. I keep thinking I see an untied shoe, and it wont always stay if I just tuck it inside. I have also had a few strands of material come unwoven from one of the edges of the strip of black fabric backing on the Velcro, and these immediately got caught in the Velcro. I pulled them out and then used a lighter to seal up the edge of the strip to hold the rest in place. It was only on on one of the two gaiters that this happened, and I don’t think i was going to be an issue, it was just the outer few coming off the warp, and the stitching would have held the rest of it together even if it had kept coming apart. So I can recommend these to others.

Good product for the price.
I bought these for an upcoming elk hunt in Colorado in November. I ordered the XL, as my calfs are very large. These seem to fit good, and appear to be well built. I’ll find out in a month, no doubt. They’re soft, but seem to be waterproof as advertised.

Fits exactly how the measurements say. They are waterproof, so perfect for snow. If you go backpacking, or backcountry hunting this is perfect. Always worried about ticks when walking through tall grasses, and these are super quick and easy to put on. During the snowy season they also keep snow and water out of my boots. I just wear my good old leather boots, so there isn’t that extra material that closes off the tongue of the boot. This keeps snow from getting in there and getting them soggy.

I have shot skinned and et diamond back. I have been stuck at. Missed. Ain’t been bit yet. I kin wait there, : ) The high density weave of the 600D Oxford cloth gives me some confidence …. paired with the usual caution in snake county. Stupid still hurts. I will use these gaiters. They are flexible, comfortable, well-made, and the price is very fair. I did buy a different pair. They were so stiff I wouldn’t use them … distractedly stiff. You won’t use something that distracts you from the hazard you are trying to avoid. Just sayin’. I returned those and bought these. “That’s all I have to say about that.” : )

Iâm over 50 years old and been an outdoorsman my entire life. Iâve used all kinds of gaiters in the past and these are by far the easiest to get on and off, keep elements, sage brush stickers even snow out with no problem. So comfortable I forget Iâm wearing them.The only downside is that these arenât of the quality that make them âlifetime useâ or even âten year useâ for instance the draw bungee at the top broke after less that a dozen uses and no abuse or user error. Iâm still going to buy another pairâfor the money theyâre an ok value and great while theyâre working. The company sells more expensive gaiters and Iâm going to try those to see if there is a quality improvement that makes the price make sense because I wouldnât mind a lifetime supply of these. Because when theyâre working they work great.

GREAT QUALITY
I just got these today so I will amend my review of these after next week I’ll be using them on an 8 day camping exploration week. But what I can say is the material is top notch. Super comfortable. No loose threads anywhere. Snaps and buckles are nice!! I’ll definitely give it 5 out of 5 stars for now. Durability we will see. The stuff sack was a surprise. I did not realize they came with it. They fit perfectly. So far 100% and 2 thumbs up!OK, I have been using these for a week now! I absolutely love them. Super comfortable NEVER SLID DOWN! I used them in some rough places. I’m definitely getting another pair. These are fabulous. I highly recommend them.

These serve their purpose but are cheaply made. Strap loop ripped off the 3rd time I wore these hiking. Will look for a better made pair. Would not purchase again.

I hunt elk moose and deer. I’ve had many pairs of gaitors. These are some of the nicest pairs I’ve had. They are thick, look to he well made the color is great. I’ve only broke them in at home cause they arrived while I was at elk camp. They are winners in my eye.

Looked at lots of higher end gaiters and found none to accomodate my larger calves. But these are ideal and goretex too. Easy to put on and feel really comfortable.
