Sweet, Floral, and Fruity â A Little Goes a Long Way
With so many varieties of scent boosters now, itâs hard to pick a scent, but âmoonlight breezeâ sounded nice. Itâs not the âGain scentâ of lavender Iâm familiar with but reminds me of the smell of grape candy for some reason, although there are other scents mixed in. I was cautious at first, adding only a tablespoon of scent beads to a large load of towels and sheets. Itâs certainly easy to use: just pour the amount desired into the cap, put the beads in the tub, then add the detergent and clothes. The bottle specifically says not to put the beads in the liquid dispenser or dryer, although that warning would be easy to overlook. I have an HE top loader and put them in the tub under the clothes with the detergent in the dispenser. I wash in cold water but did not see any residue left on the laundry after the wash. I laid the laundry on the bed for folding and when I came back into the bedroom, I could smell the fragrance, though not in a âknock your socks offâ way; Iâm glad I only used a small amount, however. I would be cautious about using this if anyone in your family (or your pets) have experienced any type of skin allergy because this product obviously leaves behind long-lasting fragrance that may trigger a reaction. I could not find any information about whether the beads are specifically harmful to synthetic fabrics or reduce their ability to wick away moisture, since these are the clothes I would want an odor blocker for, but there are usually warnings not to use dryer sheets and I suspect these might be similar. Ultimately these work as advertised by adding scent to the laundry. Iâm not yet sure how long it will last, but with sheets in the linen closet I wouldnât be surprised if the scent lasts a few weeks. If I were to order this again, I would probably try a different scent; I donât dislike the sweet, floral, fruity scent, but I donât love it either.

Amazing lasting scent
WOW! These are absolutely fantastic, I pour a little into the washer before adding my clothes, and the scent is amazing. Even just running them in the dryer after fills my entire apartment with a delightful floral smell, and the scent remains on them for days after until I wear them. It makes my clothes feel so fresh and fancy.

Perfect if you use scent-free detergent!
My little one and I both became sensitive to scented laundry detergents, so we switched to free and clear unscented detergent but I miss the scent in my laundry so I wanted to try out these Gain Fireworks In-Wash Scent Booster Beads, Moonlight Breeze Scent.WOW! This bottle is HUGE and will last me forever haha! You donât need much AT ALL even with a full load! The scent is AMAZING (to me) and our sensitive skin has had no adverse reactions to these scented booster beads!Absolutely love them!! Will be ordering again for sure (although it may be a year or so from now because again, a little goes a long way and this bottle is big haha)!

Darker floral scent
Theres a lot of beads in this bottle! I only use maybe a teaspoon or two per load, you really dont need a lot. The rest of our detergents are unscented. The smell fades a bit in the dryer, but works well! The moonlight is a floral scent, with a darker tone overall, im a big fan of it
