Besides getting it set up, these have been fantastic!
As it seems like a few people also have had issues with, getting these set up took me a couple hours. For some reason my google home recognized them but refused to connect, and the solution ultimately was to turn wifi off on my phone. Not sure if this was a google issue or a Cync issue but it ended up working outConnectivity is good 95% of the time, sometimes when switching colors one or both of my bulbs won’t switch and I’ll have to click it again, but that is a very minor issue. The bulbs are really responsive and I’ve never had problems using my google home voice activation to get them to work. Color range is impressive but some of the more extreme presets they have show up a bit weird – for example, “forest green” shows up almost the same as the “lime” color and “Alice blue” shows up as white with a slight pink hue. Another minor issue as most other colors look as expected.Overall it has been a very fun purchase that makes my room much livelier. I’m not a huge fan of top-down lighting so having these in lamps has been so much better than using my ceiling lights, especially when it’s dark outside. Wait for these to go on sale as they inevitably will at some point and get yourself a few of them!

Great Bluetooth Lights that ACTUALLY Work!
These light are great I can change them to soft white or warm or whatever back to cool blue or daylight or even purple, red or whatever I need at the moment. Although I don’t ever use any other different colors than daylight or cool blue or soft white or warm cause I think the other dark blue green lights etc are weird. And hey if I wanted to… I could even set up a light show but I probably wouldn’t do that because my dog has seizures so that wouldn’t be to good. SIDE NOTE: Don’t ever get the Feit electric Lights here on Amazon or anywhere else cause their a total waste of money they are constantly messing up or don’t ever work to begin with. These Lights here are what you really want they’re the REAL Deal when you want a bluetooth light that is so far since the last few months been very reliable and dependable, won’t lose connection and connect right away.

Essential kaleidoscope for the hearth
Smart bulbs are good for three things: Security, entertainment and comfort. Security because one can remotely turn on lights which can deter agents of the night. Entertainment because one can select a color to frame the mood including party flashing lights or subtle romantic ambiances. Comfort because the color and intensity of light can enhance the environment.I had always wanted them, and had my sights on the Phillips Hue smart bulb. When it comes to electronics, I’ve learned the hard way to only go with brands that I trust and recognize. The Phillips brand is a well known one, but the bulb was way too expensive. There are much cheaper bulbs but they are from obscure brands. And then I saw these. GE is a household name and these bulbs are far cheaper than the Phillips. When they arrived I followed the instructions, inserted the bulbs into their receptacles, turned them on and added them using the proprietary Cync app which I easily found and downloaded to my Android phone. I then added the two bulbs to the Google Home app on my phone. Now, turning on my home office light for example is as simple as commanding my Google Assistant to do so verbally. This answered the one question that I needed clarity on: whether I needed any hardware other than my phone to operate these bulbs. I do not.It has all the colors on the spectrum, and can imitate settings like the flickering of a candle or sunset. The light can be dimmed or enhanced in intensity. These are also rated to last 15 times longer than regular bulbs. The software could be better, and hence the reason for docking this review one point. The app doesn’t always connect immediately and can get hung up. But it always eventually resolves itself. Also, it only seems to work with Google Home when I am within my home’s WIFI range. But I can control the bulbs wirelessly from anywhere in the world including at home with the Cync app. Hence, I use either app to control the bulbs, depending on where I am. I am happy with the purchase.N.B. I bought both the A19 and the A21 models. The A19 model is the basic house bulb, rated at 60 watts. It worked in every receptacle I installed it in the house. The A20 is a slightly but noticeably larger bulb, both in height and diameter, rated for 100 watts. It is more selective, and would not work for my front porch. It is also significantly brighter than the A19. It’s now my habit to turn on the family room light remotely if I am not home, so that my dog does not have to sit in the dark.

DON’T CONNECT STRAIGHT TO GOOGLE/ALEXA
I’ve had these bulbs for years and have always thought they were okay at best. Reluctantly, I kept getting more because the thought of having mis-matched brands of smart bulbs seemed like a headache. When I set them up, I just used Google Home, which detected them and allowed me to set them up directly.Eventually, I read a recommendation to set them up through the Cync app that is made for them. I reset all of my bulbs and did this and they work LIKE A DREAM now. The Cync app allowed them to update their firmware and then automatically prompted me to connect to Google Home which carried over all of the rooms I’d created in the Cync app automatically. Now, they’re much more responsive when operating them through my Google home and they have additional animated light shows that I didn’t have access to before. 10/10.

Easy to program
I like how easy it was to get them to work with my Alexa program. The colors weren’t a big deal but were nice. How low they could dim was really nice

Si bien cuesta un poco configurarlos con Alexa, vale la pena, llevo casi 3 años con ellos y funcionan al 100. Tienen buena iluminación, no se desconectan y son de excelente calidad.

I bought these to set up in my room to wake me up in the morning with light. It worked perfectly. The only thing is, you have to keep your lights on from the switch and only turn them on and off from your phone. But it’s easy to get used to.
