Works fine
My old switches only worked on 2.4G and my new router wouldnât hook up because itâs 5G. These are 5G switches and hooked up easily. The old ones also turned off if there was a power outage and had to be turned back on with my phone. My aquarium light would be off until I checked on it with my camera. This switch remembers its last setting and the light comes back on when the power is restored. When out of town this is important. So far I like these switches.

Works well with older Netgear Orbi Mesh routers
I have an older Netgear Router (RBR50) and there is no way to turn off the 5GHz which makes it frustrating if you have smart switches that only hook up to 2.4 like so many of them. These hooked up to my system very quickly and have no problems. With the app it the switch was auto discovered within seconds and I was able to link to Alexa just as easily.

Good, convenient, energy saving smart outlet, that works with Google Assistant/Home.
I got this GHome WP3-A 15-amp (1800W max) outlet to automate turning on/off some things (like subwoofers and an amplifier) that guzzle electricity in when in standby mode. I have a few subwoofers that guzzle electricity and that canât easily be unplugged or turned off. With a WiFi outlet, I can automate turning them on and off. And if I accidentally leave them on, I have them scheduled to turn off at 2am. I can save enough electricity doing this that the smart-outlets pay for themselves in about 9 months. I also use them to make life easier, like turning on string lights (by voice command through Google Assistant). I already had 2 other Ghome WiFi smart double-outlets and one 2.4GHz-only Ghome outlet for other automation tasks, so it was easy to add this 4-pack the mix. (The other ones were easy to set up and control too.)THE GOOD.These outlets are easy to integrate onto my home network using the Gosund app (available on the Play Store or Apple App Store). The outlets maintain good WiFi connectivity (especially on 2.4GHz), even when placed in challenging locations, fairly far away from my WiFi router, through a few walls and past some steel-enclosed appliances..The outlets uses 0.4W when off (standby) and 0.9W when turned on (but with nothing plugged in). Thatâs pretty good. My Kasa single-outlets use 0.5W in standby, and 1W when on. My GHome dual-outlets use 0.2W in standby and either 0.5W or 0.8W if one or both outlets are on, respectively. The outlet has a power button so that it can also be controlled (overridden) manually.Of course, the app lets you turn on/off the outlet if your phone and the outlet are on the same WiFi network. The app lets you rename the outlet.I can see and control all of my GHome outlets from one page on the Gosund app.I was able to link my Gosund account to Google Assistant and Google Home and integrate both units so that I can create routines and issue voice commands, like âTurn on the living room subwoofer.âThe app enables smart home stuff, like setting multiple time-of-day on/off timers, creating scenes, etc.THE BAD:These outlets take up so much space that you can only put one of them on a 2-gang outlet, and only 2 of them (diagonally, not vertically nor horizontally) on a 4-gang outlet. Itâs a shame. I think that these could have been engineered to be smaller or more rectangular such that you could put 2 of them on a 2-gang outlet. If you have one plugged into a double-gang outlet, then you will very likely be able to use the other outlet for a typical 2-prong or 3-prong plug. The Gosund app has a couple tabs dedicated to selling you more Ghome products. Irritating, but you can avoid clicking those tabs.OTHER:On the Gosund app, if you phone is on your dual-frequency (2.4GHz & 5GHz) routerâs 2.4GHz channel, then on the Gosund app you can only set the Ghome outlet to connect to your 2.4GHz SSID. If your phone is on your dual-frequency (2.4GHz & 5GHz) routerâs 5GHz channel, then on the Gosund app you can only set the Ghome outlet to connect to your 5GHz SSID.Overall, this is a good solution.

Fast & Easy!
I just got them because I upgraded to the 5ghz router, and my old ones would not work with it. These were much easier to set up, and are much faster…

Easy installation – I bought the 5ghz version
The timers took a minute to figure out. Once that was done the rest is so easy. I am using mine for automation of accent lights. No regrets!

Easy to install
These are so much easier to set up as they are not 2.4. Go with the 5s. You will enjoy the shorter set up time

Easy to install and set up.
I love the excellent compact design of the unit, it fits in the tight space I needed it to fit in. It was easy to set up an automatic turn on and turn off each day. I have used this brand before, and you can use it both with the Gound app or the mini similar apps.

Works Perfectly
These are absolutely great plugs. The setup was a breeze (using the Gosund app) which connected with Alexa without a second thought. The decision to go round does make it functionally inferior to other “bar” type plugs since mounting two on the same outlet is a tight fit. However, the design looks superior and has a button for turning the plug on and off which is backlit with a soft blue. These function well with Alexa and Google Home. I’m conflicted in gigging them for the round design as I think it looks better but it does hinder the functionality a tiny bit. Additionally “Matter” compatibility should be a minimum standard for smart devices.
