Excellent Watt Meter for Monitoring Energy Usage
I use these to monitor four different air conditioners in our house. Central unit quit working so fell back on portables and window units to cool our house. These have been extremely helpful in determining which unit is the most efficient and helps in determining what our electric bill will be. The app is very user friendly and powerful. You can view usage by hour, day, month, or year. Highly recommend these units!

They work really well. Someone was wasting a lot of electricity and these helped me catch him.
I rent an apartment to my nephew and I also allow him to use my basement. I kept getting large electric bills so I plugged one of these into the basement AC and I started receiving alerts whenever he turned the AC on. I could also see how long the AC was on for. He does not sleep in the basement, he has his own place. Yet he left the AC running from one day to the next over and over even though he was not there. I happened to go to the basement on the days he shut the AC off so I never caught him until I plugged this amazing product in. I also told him I would be plugging one into his apartment AC because he does not pay electric, so I am sure he leaves that one on too. This device will save me thousands of dollars. Also, these are great because you can remotely turn things on and off. They don’t just sort of work, they work really well and really reliably. 6 stars!!!!!!

Works Well, Just Didn’t Offer Features Hoped For
Totally works as a smart outlet and does show tracking of energy use. Can show amps and power in-app. Product stayed connected and was very quick and easy to set up. I returned the product, but absolutely not because of problems–the smart outlet itself worked just fine.Do be aware, that using the app (Govee) you ARE able to remotely turn connected appliances on and off, but the app does not have features I could find at the time of this review to be able to trigger other smart-home actions based on power consumption (e.g. to turn on a separate fan when an AC cycles on, indicated by a current increase) which was my original goal. To me the price felt steep, but I do think this is a higher quality version of similar products out there so the price is probably fair and it IS a 2-pack.

Extremely Pleased with the Govee Smart Plug Pro with Energy Monitoring
I am very pleased with these Govee Smart Plug Pro units with energy monitoring (and plan to buy more of them). I decided to try them after using Wemo (Belkin) Mini Smart Plugs (which now seem to be obsolete and replaced by newer models). Here are my comparisons.1. The Govee units are much easier to set up. I was quite surprised at how easy and automatic it was.2. The Govee units reconnect to the WiFi must faster after being plugged in than the Wemo units. I have had problems in the past with the Wemo units losing WiFi connectivity, and the only way to get them working again is to unplug them and plug them back in. That can be inconvenient (when the units are in a place that is hard to access) or impossible (if one is not at home). I have not had the Govee units long enough to know if they lose WiFi connectivity and what happens after they do. I suspect that they will recover automatically.3. The Govee units have the advantage of being able to use BlueTooth as well as WiFi.4. One big advantage of the Wemo units is that the programming offers the option to set on and off times relative to sunrise or sunset, which makes the timing of lights adjust automatically through the seasons. The Govee units can only be programmed to turn on or off at specific clock times.5. Another big advantage of the Wemo units is that they can be programmed to turn off automatically after a set time interval after they are turned on. I use this with battery chargers. After I turn the unit on manually, it turns off after the programmed time. The Govee timer has to be programmed each time.6. Contrary to the report in another review, I have found the energy measurements to be accurate (by comparing multiple units to each other and comparing them to data from my Kill-a-Watt monitor).

ive tried a couple of these and all wouldnt seem to work. i tried this one and it worked super quick and easy. deserves to be number one in the plug category IMO. does what i needed and more actually. gonna buy more no doubt

I’m controlling a Room Heater with this Smart Plug, this device fulfilled all my needs, setup is pretty easy, energy consumption monitoring is interesting but not a need to me, it has timer function and several on and off events can be added.
