Works Great, Peace of Mind
Went with this brand as I already use the app for Govee outdoor lights. Easy to setup, sensitive sensors-which is what you want, and the audible alarm is a nice secondary alert as well. We ended up having a small leak from the backsplash at the kitchen sink that could have gone unnoticed for months without having a leak detector installed underneath. Luckily it was just a quick silicone job and did not have to replace any wood. Very happy with these. If I were to have one complaint, the wireless receiver/transmitter is pretty bulky and takes up an entire outlet.

Easy setup – Good for piece of mind
I have a few older fixtures. I bought 9 sensors (for now) for piece of mind and put them under every sink, laundry room, next to the water heater, and sump pump. Super easy setup. I got everything setup within 10-15 minutes. Read the instruction manual before placing then around your house. The sensors are pre-paired to the gateway. Simply push the button on the sensor for 3 sec then the correct sensor with flash on the setup app to allow you to rename. It pairs with Google Home which is key for my home automation needs.

Nice product with one exception
Well built water leak gateway and detectors. Purchased gateway and package of six detectors. App download and ios install straight forward. Range of detectors to gateway is excellent in two story home. I liked that there is no required subscription service, and additional charges, needed to use the system. Set up instructions were good with one very big exception. There is no way to identify individual detectors to the app. The six detectors are pre-paired/linked out the box to the gateway and pre-labeled. Nice touch, except that you cannot identify which is which to identify each detector and change the label name. I checked enclosed instructions, online support and YouTube. Nothing. Finally resorted to setting each off in a dish of water and seeing which one alarmed in the app. Instructions can be better in the multi-sensor package to identify individual unit. But I bought another five sensors to complete the system. Yes, I recommend Good value for the money.

Great product!
Wow! These leak detectors are great! There is a GOVEE app that you download â¦Then you can set up the sensors with the included hub. I actually had a lot of difficulty with the set up ⦠Iâm 66 and not very technically savvy but I called Amazon Customer Service and the representative was able to help me get the sensors up and working. The representative even was able to send me the instructions (larger print and much more readable) that I could print out which was very helpful since the included instructions are absolutely tiny! Thank you, Amazon customer service!Ok, after I got the sensors set up, I tested out the sensors on a plate with a little water and they worked great . When they come in contact with water, they sound an alarm, you get a push notification on your phone and you get an email. My one disappointment with this product was that you do not get a text message when the leak detector detects a âleakâ. This is a problem if you are not home to hear the alarm. Yes, you do get an email and a push notification on your phone. Well, I donât always check my email and the push notification just shows on your phone for a few seconds and then disappears. If I am sleeping or not looking at my phone (and not home to hear the alarm) I would miss that notification. So I did find a way to help solve this problem: There is a way that you can get the push notification to show on your iphone and remain there (instead of disappearing in two seconds!). This way you would not miss the notification. Of course, once you click on the notification it will disappear but at least you can keep it there till you read it and have a good look at it!This is how to make the Notification to stay on your phone. First you have to download the Govee app and set up your leak detectors. Now, on your iPhone, go to settings and open it up. Now, scroll down until you see âNotificationsâ. Click on âNotificationsâ and now scroll down until you see âGOVEE HOMEâ. Click on âGOVEE HOMEâ. It will open up a new screen. Now you will see on the lower part of that screen the words â¦â BANNER STYLEâ . It is probably set to temporary. You have to click on âBANNER STYLEâ and change it from âTEMPORARYâ to âPERSISTENTâ. This will make the notification stay visible on your phone until you click it.Now if you are sleeping when you get the notification that there is a leak, that notification will still be there on your phone when you wake up. You can read it, click it so it disappears and go get that leak taken care of!All in all, I love these leak detectors. I put nine of them all over my home and I feel very reassured that if there is a leak I will be notified before there is significant water damage. Thank you, Govee, for this great product!

Excellent App, Love LoRA, Works with Their Hydrometers
I’m using this to remotely monitor a home for water leaks, and I absolutely love these. They work extremely well and the app is very straight forward to get them setup. The hub that this ships with works with the Hygrometer (H5107) that they also sell and is straight forward to setup.

Very east setup. Works great.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this system. The sensors come already paired to the gateway, which makes the setup extremely simple. I have only 2 minor gripes. 1) the gateway module, which plugs into the wall, is designed in such a way that the prongs are closer to the middle of the module than the top or bottom. Unfortunately, that means when you plug it in to either the top or bottom outlet, it partially covers the other one, meaning you can’t use the other outlet when this is plugged in. This seems like an obvious oversight that defies logic. 2)When you install and open the app and pair it the gateway, all of the pre-paired sensors automatically appear in a list in the app, presumably sorted based on the alpha-numeric device ID assigned at the factory. Of course, you’ll want to rename these sensors, i.e., based on where each is located. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any way to re-order the list to group them in a different order. Not really a huge deal, because you can just move the sensors around so that their placement matches the fixed ordering in the list. Still…would it be that hard to move the sensors in the app around in the list to whatever order you prefer? Again, minor complaint, and hardly a deal-breaker, but as a software engineer, it drives me nuts that no one apparently considered that.

Water, Eater, Everywhere
We hope that we never have to respond to its voice, but it was quite easy to install and for now (and we hope forever) it remains silent.

Great gadget. Works well. Reasonably priced and very easy to set up. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that I will be quickly notified if there is a water leak in my home. I highly recommend this seller and this product.

Easy to install, easy to pair, easy to use, alarms out loud and notifies your phone. Tested and works well. Just curious if there will be any alerts when the batteries are low, you can see the percentage on the app, just not sure if it’ll notify me without checking. Only time will tell

Product seems very well constructed. I like that the battery level of the sensors can be viewed on the app, but would be even better if there was an app notification once batteries reach low charge. Quick test resulted in audible, app pushed and email notifications that came through quickly. Gave 5 stars in anticipation of it working properly for a long time (only a couple of weeks since installed). Took a couple of attempts to connect initially to wifi so don’t give up if it doesn’t connect the first time. Once the base unit was connected, all the sensors paired easily. Hint: label the sensors as you connect each one, one at a time, so that you can name them in the app.

Initial setup was simple n fast and also did a quick test n everything looks good. I hope not to listen to siren as water damage is expensive to fix.
