I have found that when I make chocolate chip cookies, I prefer milk chocolate or at least a mixture of semi sweet and milk chocolate. These are delicious chocolate chips and I do wish that local grocery sold them and not just Whole Foods. My daughter, commented on the size of the chips and I told her where I got them. Are use Sally’s baking addiction chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe and I’ve had people tell me these are the best chocolate chip cookies they’ve ever had.

This is my favorite brand to bake with – I also like to use the milk chocolate for hot cocoa. The only brand I like. I like to just eat them on their own too!!

No regrets
Theyâre quite large for a chocolate chip. I attached a photo of one next to an average Hersheyâs kiss for comparison. I bought them to just eat not to bake with but Iâd imagine they wouldnât melt quite as well and would have quite a hard texture in a baked good because of the high cocoa butter content.They taste great and Iâm enjoying them but I prefer Callebaut chocolate chips (they happened to be sold out). Both brands are palm oil free and high quality but the Callebaut ones are smaller and have a smoother meltier texture. Iâd buy them again as an alternative.

I have a soy sensitivity and alot of chocolate uses soy as a emulsifier. This doesn’t. The chips are smooth a chocolate-y. Great in cookies n cakes.

For the price the chocolate chips were clearly not fresh and mostly were stuck together so unable to use that in baking.

I ordered two bags of chocolate chips. The first bag was perfect whilst the second bags chips were old and crumbly. Not impressed as they were bought for Christmas baking and I couldnât use them.
