    HS360E Drone
I love this drone, I fly it every chance I get at the football games around the house anywhere. Doesn’t loose signal and you can fly it a pretty good distance. It’s easy to fly and the stability is great. The camera and video recording is crystal clear you can see everything in the sky. The only thing I don’t like it comes with one battery instead of two but you get 25-30 minutes on a full charge on one battery.

Very nice drone camera for the price
The HS360E is very light with a very good camera for the price. The drone has it’s limits, it’s not intended for use in winds over 12mph (force 3) and gets unstable for moments in gusty winds. If you live in a windy place try another model from the same brand. However, the pictures speak for themselves. On my pic facing the side of a nearby mountain at 1:1 view size the 4000×3000 pixel jpeg from the camera I can see individual burned out tree trunks along the top of the mountain ridge and antenna towers on the middle distance mountain pic. The battery offers a good flight life, I normally get flights longer than 25 minutes between charges. The screen cover is easy to handle.I’ve only tried the Android app for the HS360E and it has excellent features for adjusting standard picture settings that helped me keep the sky blue with cloud contrast while showing good contrast in the ground for the attached pictures. The controls have also allowed me to photograph a sunset that still had sunset colors rather than whiting out at the sun, I had to crop out neighbor houses and it’s only a crude adjusment of camera settings, I didn’t increase white balance Kelvin vaue t correct for the more red actual sun color) but let’s just say older models would capture the same frame bright white with no visible sun disc. The camera has electronic image stabilization (EIS), my best test case was about a quarter mile from a freeway with cars doing 85mph and the frames perpendicular to the camera had only a few cases of minor motion blur and it will probably work even better with closer objects. I haven’t tested it but it has a nice feature where you can select an object in the view and it will hover in-place rotating the camera tilt and heading to keep the object in the scene as long as possible.Phone connects USB to the remote and the remote has a 5GH RF connection with the drone. The phone cradle is a bit small for current phone models but style of the cradle allows a phone to resto on it if you take a little care. I never tested it but specified range is 20,000 feet (about 3.86 miles). It supports larger (256GB) micro SD-Cards than previous models.Do yourself a favor if getting one, researh your nationak drone laws and take any national classes or tests required to fly a drone. Register the drone if your laws require it (in many countries it’s light enough that registration is not required). Always calibrate the compass before flight (as stated in the manual). Fly within national laws, e.g. for me one is that I must fly lower than 400 feet above ground level. Avoid high tension power cables and radio towers, if you must pass power lines and it’s possible then fly high over them. Fly by watching the drone as much as possibe and only use the PoV camera view on the phone for local detail, changing settings and taking video and pictures. It is hard to see the drone at much distance because it’s white and small but try anyway. Buy a high intensity re-chargeable LED beacon if flying at night. You can get a handful of 20 gram models for a few tens of dollars. Use a well known brand name micro SD-Card that’s U3, V10, A1 class or better. The quality improvement for the extra few tens of dollars on a brand name card is worth it for better reliability.

Nice Addition to Holystone’s Midrange Line Up
I have read several good reviews on this drone. It has a nice case (thanks Holystone), transmitter and stand to charge the battery in. Picture quality is pretty good and the direct connection to the transmitter is nice. The transmitter display also has quite a bit of useful information and flight time is decent. There are some things I don’t like considering the price range: No spare battery, yes, I know if you do a review, you get one but there should be 2 batteries. My HS175D and HS110D both have 2 and are a lot cheaper. No tf card, they can’t be that expensive, but none are included. My iPhone needs to be well off center (see pic), so the mount doesn’t press on the side buttons. The HS175D has a better set up avoiding the side buttons. When in hover with a slight breeze the HS360e tends to move around a bit (see video). It is a little sensitive to wind with the spec showing wind resistance of 5.5 m/sec (12.3 mph) which I believe is Level 3. The HS900 shows a Level 5 wind resistance so I thought the HS360e would be better than it is. Definitely a step up from the Holystone drones I current have. One additional item to note is their customer service group is EXCELLENT! Always get back to yoiu.
