FAA CETIFICATED COMPLETED: Holy Stone HS700E drone has completed remote ID certification and complies with the FAA Declaration of Compliance. Get Holy Stone HS700E drone, and fly unhindered. Any questions about FAA Remote ID, please get in touch with us via the contact information on the back cover of the manual or the Holy Stone drone APP.
4K EIS Anti-Shake Camera: The EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) technology reduces video blurring and makes video transmission more stable. It uses pixels outside the border of the visible frame to provide a buffer for changes in direction. The 5GHz FPV transmission allows you to pull off epic, fast-paced shots. A 90° adjustable camera with a 130°FOV lens can capture a wide view of every precious moment. It lets you have almost unlimited viewing!
GPS & GLONASS Navigation Satellite System: Since it is equipped with these two navigation modules, the drone can hover with more stability, reducing the risk of loss. When the drone loses signal or power, it will trigger the return to home function.
Numerous Additional Features for Endless Fun: The Follow Me, Custom Flight Path and Smart Return to Home can be controlled by our Ophelia application while you view your drone’s camera video on your Smart Phone.
Modular Battery & Easy-to-Carry Case: Easy and safe to use. This superior drone comes with a premium carrying bag. These features make the HS700E easy to use outdoors and very simple to store safely when not in use.
Extremely User Friendly: There is no need for complicated preparation work before each flight. The Altitude Hold, Headless Mode, Air Pressure Sensor and Optical Flow modules make the HS700E super friendly for novice pilots. The brushless motors run more powerfully and with much less noise than competitor drones.

Great drone, but even better customer support!
Okay, the drone is great. It does exactly what is advertised. It’s a solid drone, films at 4k, and the picture quality is great. You can go onto YouTube to find examples. It’s good quality considering I don’t know of anyone filming a blockbuster film with one (and even then, you get the right LUT and you might be surprised with how polished the end result comes out). It checks a lot of boxes for most people. It has GPS, a follow mode, it comes with 2x batteries which give it an absolute TON of flight time. But all of that pales in comparison to the customer service experience I had with Holy Stone. So when I first received the drone, I went ahead and set it up. I’m extremely new to flying drones, but I consider myself to be at least a little bit technically literate, so when I couldn’t get the unit to produce a Wi-Fi hotspot for my phone to connect to, I went through the basics to make sure it wasn’t a PEBKAC error or anything, and then reached out to their support… on a Friday evening. I called, and after hearing it was after hours, I shot them an email, fully not expecting to hear word one until Monday. That was until, probably not 30 minutes later my phone rang, and someone let me know that they were actively working on my issue.Their tech support team ran me through a few troubleshooting options, all of which were clear, concise, and accompanied by pictures and videos. After it was determined that the Wi-Fi module in my unit was nonfunctioning, they told me that they’d ship a replacement, along with the obligatory “I can take 3-6 business days under normal circumstances for parts to ship, please allow that plus additional time for COVID related delays…”. So there I was on Sunday night thinking it’d be 2-3 weeks before I’d have parts in hand to repair the drone.Well, it’s Tuesday morning now, and they sent me a new drone. I take it out, test it, everything is working and I’ve got an ear-to-ear grin as I can now chase my poor dog around the fields next to where I live. The only suggestion I’d have for anyone buying a new one of the HS700E’s, and this is more an issue with me being a very new drone flyer than anything else, is if you’re going to fly it near anything (near trees or anything outside, or just generally inside), they make these propeller guard bumper rail things. I’d just buy them whenever you buy the drone. I’m sure they’re not necessary for someone who’s been flying for a while, and I have gotten a pretty good handle on it over the last hour because the controls themselves are very easy and responsive, but if you panic and press a joystick the wrong way or something and it hits a wall, I’m sure it’s not easy to bounce back. I’ve had a couple of close calls, so mine are already in the mail.

Great Quadcopter to start doing aerial video and photos. Good price and quality!
I got this HS700E quadcopter as a first more high end quadcopter to play with for flying and taking video and photos. Previously, I flew the toy ones that did not have sophisticated electronics like GPS and high end 4K video cameras. I was impressed when I opened the box with the quality feel of the packaging and foam padded container for the quad, as well as the high quality feel of the quadcopter, controller, and detailed manual instructions that allowed me to learn how to use this machine.I charged the batteries, which took a few hours, and took it for a test flight. I was a little nervous having crashed the lighter quadcopters I’ve flown, and there was a slight breeze on my street. This HS700E is a bit heavier and stood up to the light wind well. In the attached video, I did a quick review, followed by some clips of me flying, followed by some clips of video from the phone app that was paired to the quadcopter. I’m guessing the 4K video quality would be on the microSD card in the quad, versus what’s going to the phone over wifi.I had a lot of fun flying this for the first few times, and will take it to the park soon to get a little more adventurous in flying altitude as well as distance away from me in a more open space. First impressions are that this thing is really cool, and I’m looking forward to flying it a lot more in the coming weeks. If I have any issues or thoughts that warrant an update to this review, I’ll post something. Otherwise, would definitely recommend buying this for the price.Update 1: Went back to the park and was able to fly with the “follow me” function. Very cool the quad follows and points the camera at you as you move around. Also used the “land at home function” and the quad was able to come over and land itself. So far so good and I’m much less worried about crashing given these functions built into the app on the phone paired to the quad.Update 2: Today I figured out that I was in a “beginner mode” which wouldn’t allow me to fly further away. So, I turned that off 🙂 I was able to go up to ~300 ft when my wifi video cut out. I also flew hundreds of feet away comfortably because I knew that “home” button would bring the quadcopter right back. I successfully used the waypoint directed flight over the phone app, and the circulating around a point of interest. I am thoroughly impressed so far with the quality of the quadcopter hardware and software – even in moderately windy conditions the performance is impressive.

Good starter drone, but some caveats
Good drone, got it set up and running pretty quick. It wouldn’t start the first time and the app said ‘Can’t take off without idle mode’ but the manual doesn’t mention idle mode anywhere. I had no idea what it meant or how to turn it on or what the deal was. I turned everything off, turned it all on again, and it worked. I should have included in my original review that I *think* idle mode is started with a quick press of the lock button on the controller, which starts the propellers but doesn’t cause it to take off.I use the app on my Galaxy Note Ultra 20 and the clip holds it fine, even in a case. You have to connect to the drone’s network to fly, but that’s not a problem. The picture is good, but it doesn’t control very precisely. If you just let it hover, it will sway right and left, fly a little in one direction or another, and it never seems to respond tightly to the controls. It does fly and you can generally fly it around no problem, but it will add English (like in billiards, I mean, you know, spin) to any direction you give it, so for precise movements this would not be a good choice.VERY IMPORTANT: Turn off beginner mode in the settings! If you don’t, it will greatly limit the range and control you have over the drone. The manual doesn’t mention it, and I only discovered that through an obscure Reddit post. I almost thought it was defective and was going to return it until I found that info.
