I have purchased 4 Hugolog cameras – 3 Light Bulb and 1 other variety. The mobile app is excellent in design and response — there are inexpensive options for cloud storage or non-subscription microSD storage of footage. The main attraction to the light bulb cameras are the easy installation to existing ‘porch light’ areas. Often, the existing fixture can have its current housing removed in favor of the camera that replaces the ‘light’ function of the previous bulb that was in place (see photos). The fact that a pan/tilt/zoom camera can be put in place of a static porch light at ~$20-25 is incredible! I tried a few 3rd party apps to access the ONVIF / RTSP capabilites of this camera. The NX-V app (https://incax.com/apps) autodetected the cameras (local IP) and allowed me to view the feeds. Just be sure to assign a password to the ONVIF option for the cameras and use ‘admin’ as the username in the NX-V app. Hugolog Customer support was very helpful and willing to help after the sale, as well.

The camera swiftly locks onto moving objects and follows them across its field of view, ensuring that any activity is thoroughly monitored.### Areas for Improvement:**Hit-and-Miss Vehicle Detection:**One area where the camera could use improvement is its vehicle detection capability. On several occasions, it has incorrectly detected a vehicle when there was none. While this is not a dealbreaker, it can be slightly annoying and may require adjustments or updates to improve accuracy.**Limited Automatic Tracking (Panning Only):**The automatic tracking feature is effective but has a minor limitation: it only supports panning (left and right rotation) and does not include tilting (up and down movement). Although this doesn’t drastically affect the camera’s functionality, having both panning and tilting capabilities would provide more comprehensive coverage.### Conclusion:The Hugolog 3K Light Bulb Security Camera excels in delivering top-notch video quality and impressive night vision, making it a strong contender in the security camera market.
