Good Retro Console
I have tried nearly all times of games that I have available on this console and I haven’t had any issues. It is good that is basically have an upscaler installed in it so I can play retro games on a HD TV.

Fun and Innovative!
I’ve had my Retron 5 for a week now and it works great! I will recommend to be mindful of the “death grip” and take care when inserting and removing cartridges. If I do have any issues in the future I’m sure the slots can be easily replaced. When it comes to third party emulation gaming, I don’t expect to fully not have to put in some effort in the long run. Overall I am very pleased with the product, the controllers, and the functionality. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in an all-in-one console that reads original game cartridges, has plenty of controller options, and some really nice game settings features. I also like the exclusive controller it came with. It works great for racing and flight games.

This thing is awesome
This thing is awesome. It’s super convenient to be able to play cartridges from so many different systems with one machine. I play on one of my PC monitors, and if there is lag it’s barely noticeable. I considered getting a Retron 5 for a long time, and the Hyper Beach colors finally convinced me to get one.One thing that sort of sucks is that the included Scout controller arrived broken. The pins inside the connector were broken and rattling around loose inside the connector. I was planning on using my Switch Pro controller, anyway, so it’s not that big of a deal. It’ll sort of suck if someone comes over to play that doesn’t have their own controller, though. I contacted support, and they said they were currently out of Hyper Beach Scout controllers. They offered to send me a different color, but I told them I’ll wait till they get more Hyper Beach ones. The color scheme is awesome tbh. My Switch Pro controller with a wireless adapter works great.

It does a great job, but has a few things that hold it back from a full 5 stars.The emulation cannot (currently) accommodate the one thing every needs: Sonic 3 + Knuckles. You lock on the cart, and sadly it only plays S&K.I was playing FF Adventure on GB and the game didnât play load properly. Of course, I didnât know this âtil 3.5 hours in and the game crashed and the save file was erased.Also, the charge cable for the brick controller is on the rear of the console. What could have possibly happened, before manufacturing, that would have lead to this sort of blunder making through every stage of development. Boggles the mind.Other than that, I like how it quickly dumps a ROM complete with saves, has save states, can apply a few filters, connects to my HDTV, and connects to my old controllers. Thereâs some way it can load âcheatsâ and you can even load a save state from an SD card (not a ROM).Itâs a neat console and I hope the N64 and DS get added to the amalgamation later.

Expensive lightweight brick
Forces wireless controller sync, once it synchronized its impossible to pass the calibrate the screen size message, the controller is on but does nothing, any wired controllers get not response either. This thing is an expensive brick.

I was looking for device to play my GB, GBC and GBA carts. This device plays all my regularGame cartridges plus some GBA multigame carts like Mega Drive collection on GBA Cart.Also does good on Nes, Super Nes and GensCart. No software update needed. Had it for over 2 years still works great.

Overall a really good multi game console but the gene port does not work I put multiple games in and it say card not in slot or reads nothing there even with the three in one adapter

Fait exactement ce qu’elle devrait faire.Elle permet aussi de pouvoir prendre les sauvegardes des cartouches et avoir une copie de celle-ci sur une carte SD. La raison pour laquelle j’ai acheté cette console.L’adaptateur pour “vieille console SEGA” est aussi excellent. Elle permet beaucoup de console rétro au grand écran.Le seul “problème” que j’ai pu remarqué, elle supporte l’adaptateur Sega 32X, mais ne lit pas les jeux de cette console.Excellent achat!
