Makes me feel like I have a âgrown up bedâ ð
I canât believe I waited so long to get a linen duvet and honestly Iâm a little upset with myself now knowing what Iâve been missing out on! I wanted it to be a little oversized for extra comfiness so I ordered a King in both this duvet and a new down comforter for my Queen size bed. I highly recommend doing that. I truly have the most comfortable bed Iâve ever slept in. The quality is really nice and it just gets softer every time you wash it. It never once has wrinkled on me. It made my whole room look classier lol. Itâs light enough weight that it fits nicely around the down comforter without crushing it. Iâd say itâs suitable for cold to average temperatures.

A fantastic affordable french linen duvet set
I really like the look and feel of linen, but it is usually really expensive. I took a chance on this set since it was so affordable, and am so happy that I did. It really is 100% linen: the texture and even that wonderful linen smell. First thing I did was wash it to make sure it would hold up, and line dried it outside. I did not notice any considerable shrinkage and no fraying fibers, and it felt even softer than straight out of the package. I got the natural color, which I would note appears to be dyed a light brownish color rather than raw linen, but still a perfect shade of khaki-tan.In short, at this price, this is a fantastic linen duvet set.

Pretty but differs slightly from photos
The print and feel are nice. It is a light soft fabric, not a thick damask or jacquard fabric. The photos make it look like the dark gray border and buttons go all around the sides, but they only go across the bottom for the actual duvet opening. I will keep it since itâs only for a guest room. Definitely not âoversizedâ. Depending on your bed frame, you may still need a bed skirt. I will be purchasing one that matchsð¤¨

So I had the duvet delivered a few days ago and washed it on arrival. It felt a little rough right out of the package and after the first wash.Let me tell you – the shedding is unbelievable. I have washed and dried it 5 times already and the dryer filter is stuffed with fluffy lint every single time.The material has become much softer, but I donât know what to think about it anymore. When does it end? Even my flannel sheets never shedded this much⦠Iâll keep it and return to update the review if there is any new development.Edit 1: It took 7 wash and dry cycles for the amount of lint to decrease. Do not wash it with other items until the lint is almost gone, or they too will be absolutely covered in fluff.

Idk how itâs rated so high
I donât know why this is rated so high or why itâs so expensive. Iâm not a connoisseur when it comes to these sort of items, but I do understand what makes me comfortable and being covered in 500 grit sand paper doesnât do it for me. Iâm absolutely disappointed in this. Immediately from removing and touching it, it just scratches my skin. It even pulls a bit on body hair it comes in contact with. So please take this as your fair warning if youâre looking for something that is soft and comfortable to lay in.
