I wanted to get a knife set that would look good on my counter and get the job done for food prep. We have a studio and do food and beverage photography and video so it needed to look good on camera and function well. This set does the job. It has everything you need to prepare a meal and looks great while doing so.It is German carbon which is the best in my opinion. It comes with a knife sharpener too. One feature that is very helpful is it has holes in the bottom so moisture can get out. I wash them by hand so they will look great for years to come.I think the quality and price is great and I am really glad I bought these!

Love that they are dishwasher safe
The knives are super sharp but you do have to sharpen them on a regular basis. The main reason I bought is for the dishwasher safe component. They work great. No rusting and look as good as new over time. Knives are a bit lighter than I expected but overall happy.

Contacted their customer support after an issue with one of the knives. They were very responsive and not only communicated in a timely manner, but took car of the issue just as fast! I would highly recommend them and plan on trying out their other products.

The knife set was an awesome birthday gift for my dad! They are crazy sharp! The company claims that it is made from Japanese stainless steel, even though I can’t confirm the origin, but they feel super high-quality and obviously crazy sharp. The wooden knife block not only looks cool, but it’s perfect for keeping all the knives organized, as there are so many of them. He’s been using them for a couple of weeks now and absolutely loves them. They’re really comfortable and easy to grip, he even showed off this past weekend, the whole Gordon Ramsey knife sharpen thing. Looking at the quality, I would say that they’re just as good as those fancy, expensive brand name knives at fraction of the cost. Highly recommended for all home cooks out there!
