Easy set up, clear picture, good motion detection, good app
Overall a good camera, well priced and easy to set up. I had 2 other make cameras ,(not mentioning names), returned because they would not connect easily without multiple tries to my wifi easily even after resets; and even after connecting, it would drop wifi or make me reformat my sd card for no reason. Just too complex. This one connected immediately, clear instructions and the picture is good. See the night mode pic vs the day mode of the same area, pretty good with only a street lamp post light. 2k – pretty clear, clearer than 1080p.Things to improve: 1.Doesnt differentiate between pet, human, object. The other camera did. I think you can pay for AI to do that but I’m not paying extra monthly for that. 2.You can fast forward captured motion 2x and 4x, I would like to see 6x and 8x. Its just software enhancement. 3. It captures motion and then has 1 minute of nothing following the motion. I would rather have 15 sec before the motion and 15 sec after the motion. Again, software. 4. You move your finger along a bar to get to next motion capture. Inaccurate. I would rather have a time setting where you input the time you want to start the motion viewing. That gives it to you to the second. All these enhancements I have seen on other cameras I have tried so I know its possible.Bottom line, I give it 5 stars because it works, good picture, no drop outs or resets after 2 weeks of use, and its easy to connect. I have a router that throws off 2.4g and 5g together and the camera auto connected to the 2.4, (its not 5g compatible), so that is not an issue. Some other make cameras have a problem and you have to shut off 5g at the router to connect. No prob here. App is easy to use, fast connections through wifi or cell towers, lots of options other than the ones I noted above. I recommend.

Great pet camera
This works great to keep track of our Yorkies while camping and traveling in our RV. We have a hotspot set up to use and can check on the dogs, even talk to them, while we are away. No lag in most conditions. Great image quality.

Overall good camera
This is a good camera system for the price and ease of use. I have two of them set up to observe my pets while we are away on vacations or long outings, and they work just fine. Even at night, the picture is still clear enough to see what’s going on. This camera does have a motion detection feature, but be aware that it is not a continuous video once motion is detected, but instead a screenshot and a message notifying the user that there has been movement. The picture quality is not like an HDTV, nor would you expect that from a camera system so moderately priced, but the overall quality is still more than good enough to observe what is going on in the area where you have set it up. The speaker system works well, as you can both speak and be heard through it. Once again, it should be noted that this is not an expensive home security system and therefore expectations should not be unreasonable. For the moderate price, you get a good and reliable camera system, and if your needs are simple this will work just fine for you. I am happy with the system and plan to add one more camera. Connectivity to the app, as well as the usability of the overall system, is fairly easy.

Not sure about this camera…No alexa connection or Google Home
I just bought this and didn’t realize it doesnt interconnect with any smart home set ups Alexa or Google Home nor Apple, which really is a draw back for me. Honestly having to download Another App for just one single device, is sort of ridiculous when it could should just be controlled by one app. I suppose if your whole home security system was all Mubview cameras and products, if they sold everything needed for a smart home set up, it’d not be so bad. #2 Issue I have now with this model camera is that after plugging in and downloading the app and setting up my account with them…It states in the set up instructions to press the reset button and wait to see the blue light flashing, but my camera doesn’t ever flash blue. It flashes red, sometimes slow sometimes fast and once it flashed green, but never blue. It won’t connect or even come up when I’m scanning for the device on the app. I’ve been troubleshooting this issue for the last hour since i first opened the box, and nothing has worked. Problem #3: Then on top of the issue with just finding the device on the set Mubview App, the customer service with Mubview is basically nonexistent. Yes it has areas on its app for “support:” but it’s only a form you fill out and then send and then wait to see if anyone replys via email. There isn’t an actual live representative, like majority of todays security camera products support who can immediately help you step by step troubleshoot or even just let you know if the issue your having is something common that they encounter w other customers and have fixed this many other times or if it’s totally odd and could be a product defect malfunction and then helped getting a replacement or refund.#4 Problem: Upon opening the box you find a users set up pamphlet and on the first page opening it shows a QR code to scan for an extended 3 year warranty, cool right, nope…You scan that little code then it does take you a totally different web page where you fill out some personal basic info as in the order number for your purchase of the device, name and email address,( Also mind you that at this point it’s still not even opened an account for you) this was just for the extended 3 yr warranty. Get that all filled out then Once you click on submit at bottom of page, it takes you Again, to a totally different web link thats they’re Amazon products page. Like sending you to buy more instead of showing you any info validating your extended 3 yr warranty. There isn’t anything to verify your extended 3yr warranty after you click submit and there’s nothing for you to even go back to and refer to when asking a support representative if they did even have such offer available. So how would one who just provided all these details about they’re product, purchase, name & contact info to even verify this 3 yr extended warranty that required providing my order number? Just felt suspicious and made me feel like ide just given my info to some sort of scam, idk. Just didn’t seem right. But it was indeed the QR code provided inside the sealed product box, so its legit right..idk. I’m also wondering if this camera perhaps may have been used and just repackage and sold as new and is why I can’t get it to show the in set up mode flashing blue light and isn’t visible on my Bluetooth scan. I’m probably sending this camera back because we’ll first off I can’t even find the device to begin setup, and it can’t connect with any smart home hubs and Mubview has no live customer support and only has a page to submit feedback and there isnt even a FAQ page that shows any of the issues I’m encountering upon opening the box. There are FAQ that adress issues that are common sense like why can’t it connect to wifi..it only uses 2.4…why can’t I have 2 phones connected to the app, why won’t it download videos…your SD card isn’t formatted correctly, or cus you haven’t bought the cloud subscription needed for recording video footage. This camera might be only 16$ w black Friday deal on Amazon right now but from what I’m experiencing right now, it’s not even worth that when it can’t even be detected to begin a set up. So we’ll see if someone from Mubview support contacts me and helps fix these issues and I’ll leave an acual review of how it works once I get it to work.

This is a high quality camera to check on pets, monitor your home while away, and record video clips.I’m really happy with this security camera. I got it to record video clips of my dog using his talking buttons. It can be hard to predict when he is going to press the buttons, so I rarely have my phone ready to record. I have missed some funny conversations and wished I could capture them on video, so I wanted to get a camera that would activate when my dog approaches the buttons. This camera works great for this. The picture quality is great and audio is clear. Night vision works well for viewing in the dark.It was important to me to find a camera that would record video clips that are easy to find and download. The Mubview app is easy to navigate. I can access video clips through the “messages” section where the app shows alerts when motion is detected. Without an SD card, the app stores just images of each event, and with an SD card, a video clip is saved each time motion is detected. Clips can be viewed and downloaded directly to my phone via the app (this can be done remotely), or the SD card can be removed to view the files outside of the camera.This camera also works well for checking in on my dogs. I can see and hear them live. Through the app, the camera can be turned side to side (360 degrees) or up and down (probably about 45 degrees). It is helpful to be able to reposition the camera remotely to look around the room. It is also possible to speak through the camera, and this has been very helpful for talking to my dogs (for example, to ask them to stop barking if they see something outside when I’m not there).The app can be set to send alerts for motion and/or sound, but alerts can also be disabled to avoid unwanted notification messages. I turned off notifications so I do not receive alerts when the dogs move around.After using the camera for just under a month, an issue suddenly occurred where the SD card would not click into place. I contacted Mubview via their website, and the company responded immediately to assist me. Kaia from the Mubview support team was very helpful, and after troubleshooting the issue, quickly arranged to send me a replacement camera which arrived in less than 2 days. The new camera works perfectly, and I am very pleased with the support I received. I highly recommend this camera and Mubview as a company.

Die Kamera wird nur Indoor verwendet. Mit einer Sd-Card ist auch das aufzeichne der Videos in einer “Cloud” möglich( Also auf der Sd-Karte aber vom Mobiltelefon aufrufbar). Die App ist gut bedienbar und gerade die Geräuschaktivierung ist hervorragend. Die Bewegungs-Erkennung ist etwas träge, sobald eine Bewegung erkannt wurde, folgt die Kamera jedoch relativ zuverlässig der Person. Nachts ist die Bildqualität genau so wie Tags gut.

Premetto che ho altre 2 videocamere di altra marca e funzionanti con diversa app. Questa, però, l’ho trovata molto più semplice da configurare, visione stupenda (rapportata al prezzo) sia di giorno che in modalità notturna. Con pochissima luce si vede a colori e molto dettagliato. A questo prezzo, perfetta!!!
