    Fantastic kayak for the price
To start with if you’re looking for a top of the line kayak with all the bells and whistles this is not it. What it is though is a fantastic entry level kayak at a really good price that can break down to the size of a suitcase (including pump and paddles). For those just getting into kayaking, or those looking for something to use occasionally and just want to leisurely paddle around i don’t think you can beat it. Since even the seats are inflatable too it is incredibly comfortable. We’ve had it out several times now in rivers and lakes and I was not expecting it to work nearly as well as it does considering the price. Using the pump it comes with I can inflate it in just over 5 minutes without issues. It’s fairly light, conceivably one person could carry it but it would be a pain. With two people though it’s easy to carry and we’ve had no issues parking near launches filling it up at the car and two of us carrying it to the water. In the water its very stable and floats well. Not saying you can stand up in it or use it in incredibly choppy water but it handles moderate waves without issue. It’s never going to compete with hard sided kayaks in speed, there is just too much drag. This is pretty much how most inflatable kayaks are going to be though and unless you’re with some serious kayakers you can still keep up easily enough and don’t have to worry about being left behind. My only major issue with it is even with the seats separated as much as possible (the seats are detachable and connect to the base via velcro so can be moved) you are still relatively close. You have leg room so it’s not like you’re sitting on top of each other but you do have to be careful of your paddling. If you can’t match your partners paddle rate you will smack each others paddles. Other than that though i only have a couple minor issues, the seam for the side chambers is positioned such that it rubs on you a little as you paddle. There really isn’t a good place to put it though so not sure there is much to do with that, we’ll probably end up taping over it to smooth it out. The front person also can rub against the inflation points and buckles for the seats. It’s not terrible but it is an annoyance. Really though those are the only complaints i can think of, it is a fantastic kayak considering what it is. I would warn against it though for those looking to really get into kayaking. The air chambers that make up the sides are relatively large which is good for stability but not so good for efficient paddling. You have to reach out over them a little bit which if you’re going to be paddling hard or for long periods is not great. Toss in the drag from being inflatable and it’s going to be rough for those who want to paddle all day or through serious currents.

    Amazing product 10/10
What is there to even say about this product, except this is probably the best money I’ve ever spent! I ordered 4 of them for me and my friends, and have taken them out a few of times already. I have terrible back problems and spend almost every weekend kayaking and camping, so finding ways to alleviate that in amy way is huge. I have issues with prolonged time in canoes and kayaks, I do not have that issue with these inflatables. We have actually connected them together while people take naps in them. Our last trip, 4 people fell asleep while attached, or in the front spot. They are definitely what you would expect for an inflatable, as far as speed and maneuverability goes. They don’t sit deep, and are light on the water, so they take a little more effort to steer than a regular kayak. I’d put it somewhere between a canoe and a kayak for how it controls. You also sit lower than a normal kayak, so heavy paddling isn’t as easy. I definitely recommend them for more narrow, fast moving rivers where you’re doing more steering than paddling. Or if you want to just float around on a lake. If you’re looking to get somewhere in a hurry, the K2 challenger might be more what you’re looking for, especially if you aren’t concerned with having space for gear. The durability of these is outstanding. When I first got them, my girlfriend and I took one out, just to see how it stood up to obstacles, before throwing a bunch of our friends in them. I let it run into a bunch of sticks, rocks, and other deadfall without a single issue. We basically just let the current take us wherever it wanted. The bottom drug across some rocks in low points a few times. In the end there was no noticeable damage whatsoever. It does come with a patch kit if there is ever an issue, I also carry a roll of flex tape with me and keep one of the pumps in the kayak. Our last trip out, we went on a very busy weekend, where the river was full of thousands of people drinking and being stupid. We had people running into us, crashing right in front of us, and pushing us into log jams. These things are absolutely untipable. Where normally you would worry about flipping when you get hung up on a log or rock, that doesn’t happen with these. Imagine being a bumper boat floating down the river. Great for people with little experience. How compact these are is a another big selling point. I don’t have any way to transport that many, and renting every week was getting expensive. I managed to fit 4 of these, along tunts, airmattresses and other camping gear for 4 people, in the trunk of my tiny 350z. These also provide a decent amount of space for gear, especially if you are riding solo. We do a lot of multiple night trips and regular kayaks don’t cut it. I bought cooler tubes to attach to the back of each one, for extra gear storage and it’s worked like a charm. The paddles aren’t the greatest, the tips are a little flimsy, so you can’t really use them to push yourself off, they also have a tendency to drip on you a little bit, but for the money, I can’t complain. I also really like that they break down easy. The set up is a breeze, I use an electric pump and top them off with the hand pump. You have to be careful not to overinflate with the hand pump. The kayak comes with a gauge and markings on the tubes you match it up with to tell when it’s fully inflated. I’ve read 1 or 2 reports of people popping a seem from overinflating. You can also buy a 3 year warranty for $7.99 I highly recommend doing it. I keep saying, if this kayak lasts me 3 years, I will be more than happy. As with anything you want to keep nice, it’s important to spray them down with a hose and let them dry in the sun when you get home. Nothing worse than having mildew growing on your kayak because you put it away wet!Since I bought mine, I’ve had at least 6 friends also order one, as well as referred numerous people on the water to Amazon for ordering. I plan to get many more of these, and some or the challengers.

Been using it for 3 years now. So far, no problems! Easy to inflate and deflate. Love that it has its own bag and a manual pump. Even better if you have those electric pumps for faster inflation
