Worth the price!
This is a fantastic headset. Battery life is top notch. Sound is very very good with a perfect level of bass. Bass hits the right amount for me. No distortion or dropping connectivity. The lights are really cool but I usually leave them off due to draining the battery more. There are no custom presets for console, they are only programmable for PC. On Xbox though I have the options of Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic and DTS since I bought the license so I am able to find the best option depending on the game I am playing. I was using the Audeze Penrose Before these and although their sound is unique the JBL blow them out of the water and don’t have any popping or connection issues. These aren’t the most comfortable headphones I’ve used but have no issues wearing these for 5-6 hour sessions and I am pretty sensitive to having stuff on my head. Overall very happy with these and would definitely buy again.UPDATE: I still use these all the time for gaming and I absolutely love them. Amazing for Warzone, I hear things my buddies don’t all the time while playing. I will definitely buy again or whatever upgraded version JBL releases. Still working great and they have gotten more comfortable with some wear.

The Best Gaming Headset by Far – JBL
OverviewIf you’re tired of mediocre audio quality from the likes of Steel Series and/or Turtle Beach, and want a high quality gaming headset that’s packed with all the latest features, look no further. By far the best gaming headset I’ve ever owned/tested/reviewed:â¢Astro A50 Mandalorian Edition – Mic Issuesâ¢RIG 800 – Battery Diedâ¢RIG 900 – Bluetooth added for 2x priceâ¢Steel Series Arctis 7x – No EQ tuning on Xboxâ¢Steel Series Arctis 9 – No EQ tuning on Xboxâ¢Turtle Beach 600 Gen 2 Max – Uncomfortableâ¢Turtled Beach 700 Gen 2 Max – Uncomfortable + BluetoothComfort: 5/5A lot of reviewers complain about the use of plastic on such a pricey headset, but the weight reduction is crucial for marathon gaming. Not sure what some people are doing with their headset, but basic attention and care will make these last for years. The ear cups may be stiff at first, but once they’re broken in, I haven’t run into any discomfort or fatigue.Audio + Noise Cancellation + Bluetooth: 5/5The sound coming from this headset is well balanced and tight, but the best part is you can change between the preset EQ from JBL or tune the EQ to whatever you prefer through the app. Also, noise cancellation can be turned on/off and does such a great job with immersion… im not joking when I say I refuse to play any survival horror game with them on… go ahead I dare you.Mic: 5/5Everyone I’ve played with has said the mic is clear and crisp, emphasizing that it actually sounds like my natural speaking voice and not robotic like in other headsets.

Good sound, mic probs
My kid always bugging that mic not working, sometimes its the mute switch, sometimes not plugged well, until it died and i connected old car mic with same plug. Will buy other pair next time.

Great headphones for a gamer or non gamer
Apart from the green headband cushion, these headphones are very unassuming. You only see the green when you take it off. I bought these because I wanted a pair of headphones I could use for gaming and then take to work without looking silly. This is exactly what I got. The microphone comes off and then it just looks like regular headphones. The mic quality is not great, but people will understand you fine. I wouldn’t recommend it for making recordings, but for casual use and versatility, it’s great.I also love how fast you can switch from Bluetooth to the dongle. If you work from home, this is great for switching from relaxing on downtime back to work when it’s time, or for whatever else. I would buy it again.

Impressed for the price!
They are over ear and semi noise canceling, not full so i still hear anything loud in the background but thats how i want it incase anyone rings the doorbell or yells. Really amazing sound and quality despite the cheap price, just handle it with care as it is plastic. Will buy again if mine ever break.

It sucks do not buy
What I dislike about this product is that it immediately broke, I can’t hear from the right side anymore and the sound quality is trash.

not terrible but not great either
Don’t fit well, a little small. Mic sounds like I’m talking from a cave. Doesn’t come with a USB adapter. Wired cable is shorter than i expected. Makes my head sweat after wearing them for 5 minutes. Sound is good but everything else is just OK

Ouch..Where to begin…I tried them on PC with both the Engine and Dolby Atmos. The Bass is great I must admit, but the sound..Even with the trebble at max is sounded muffled and not that great. For gaming, the head tracker is a gimmick that is useless if you’re not playing a FPS game.I heard better headsets for a cheaper price.

I’m not scared to use it for work haha.Certainly a lot better than most colleague’s microphones. Great for teams/zoom meeting.
