I expected the dinosaurs to be slightly bigger . Although they are made well they are kind of small. It comes with a mat, trees and carrying case , but they are shoved in there I doubt we will be able to put everything back so it fits.

Thinking back, mine came with extra mountains and volcanos for added dimension. This doesn’t have that, but he doesn’t seem to mind the otherwise flat landscape though.While I noted some of the smaller dinosaurs might be a choking hazard for younger kids, this set is perfect for a preschooler. The quality is impressive, and the sturdy design means these toys can withstand the enthusiastic play of little hands. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Not for infants, but a great toy they can grow into
My grandson joined us about 7 months ago, and during this time he has exhibited a fascination with dinosaur toys. When the JOYIN Dinosaur Toys with Activity Play Mat & Storage Cage came across my data feed, I immediately snapped it up for him. This dinosaur kit is great!The number and variety of dinosaurs is fantastic. The proportions of the dinosaurs to each other isn’t really accurate, but the general shape is. The colors are attractive and make the individual pieces stand out. Each dinosaur is constructed with rigid plastic; the parts do not feel fragile and look like they can take a toddler beating. The included storage cage is great for keeping all the parts together when storing them away, and it can also be used as part of the play environment.Unfortunately, this was not the best choice for my grandson, since I didn’t look closely at the product description until it arrived. Very clearly stated: for kids age 3-5. My 7 month old grandson falls out of that range, so we’ll be keeping it on a shelf until he’s old enough to not choke on the smaller parts (or even put them in his mouth). Even so, this is a great toy set and highly recommended!
