Overall a very good switch. I wish the depth of this device was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch less deep. It is a struggle to install it in the standard box with all kinds of wires you have to force in..

Good: Great product. Comes with instructions but I’d suggest a qualified electrician install them if your not comfortable. Can be controlled from anywhere if you have access to the app.Bad: No parental features. Wifi sensitive. Is fairly large and can be tight fit in electrical boxes. Might require switching your boxes to plastic due to connection placement.Warning: if you buy second hand through Amazon be careful! You sometimes get defective products and units with cut wires.Install these units sooner rather than later. If there is an issue and you wait too long to return, amazon won’t accept the return and your out $25 per unit.

Great Product, But Inspect Carefully Before Installing
EXCELLENT PRODUCT.I’ve installed several Kasa HS210 switches, and a ton of Kasa smart switches (HS200, KS220, etc.). They’re great products – effective, reliable, affordable, and comparably easy to install. I’ve used other brands and technologies (Z-Wave, Zigbee, etc.), and except for a couple corner cases, these are all I install in my home.BUT BE CAREFUL.I received a “new” HS210 that had clearly been used during a failed installation. The internal packaging was opened and the wires had been twisted (i.e. into a wire cap). But the most concerning detail is that there were black soot (burn) marks all over the device. Using potentially damaged electrical components poses a fire and personal safety risk. I would definitely recommend the product, but if it shows any signs of previous use or damage, don’t install it!

The Kasa line of switches are an excellent choice for upgrading your home to a smart home. They install easily like any switch should. The quality is robust and they look sharp once installed. Each switch comes with everything you need including basic install instructions, connectors, and finish plate. The switches have a night light feature built in to them making them easy to locate and turn on in low light situations.Their app is easy to use and has numerous features to automatically control your home. The Kasa line integrates nicely with Tapo products and you can easily control all your cameras and switches from the Tapo app as well.

Easy wiring, easy wi-fi connection, and the product looks great after install. App is really easy to use too.I have 20+ units installed around my house, and they all work great. Motion sensor units work great, and the dimmer switches have memory, so the brightness level is always perfect.Only downside is the height of the switch. They don’t fit inside older (80’s) boxes very well.*** Just don’t buy used switches ***Often they come damaged, or the incorrect switch is in the wrong box. Not worth the hassle of a few dollars.
