WAYYY BETTER THAN PHILLIPS HUE
Bought these to FINALLY replace my GARBAGE Phillips hue bulbs. Those have been nothing but trouble always randomly disconnecting from google app and not being able to fix them. Factory reset everything still not working. Randomly will start working again.I had enough. Ordered these to replace that junk. SUPER simple setup, less than 5 minutes. Work perfect with google and have been flawless since setup. Brightness and color is also similar. Thinking about buying many more for the amazing price.

Best smart bulbs at a good price
Easy to set up.with Kasa and the price is always reasonable.compared to most. They also last forever as I’ve had others for over 4 years and not one has even burned out yet. Love the dimmable features and Alexa control ability. Plus they are very bright when you want them to be. In the picture I have 2 under that fixture and they can be controlled together or 1 at a time for power and brightness.

Bright and easy to pair
As has been my experience with previous Kasa smart products, this was very easy to pair using the Kasa app. Once added to your Kasa account you can quickly add it to your Alexa or Google Home account. The light is fairly bright and the warm white color pleasing on the eye. It is dimmable using the app or from Google Home or Alexa or any other home automation. I use it for my porch light and have programmed Google to switch it on after sunset and off again at sunrise. It serves well in this role. The issue with these bulbs is always longevity. I will update this review if the bulb stops working in a less than reasonable time frame. Till then I am very satisfied.

Only one issue
I purchased a couple of handfuls of these to replace plugs used in lamps. They work well with Alexa and were easily put into routines. My only complaint is that after a power failure they turn on. Is there a way to stop this? I submitted an online request for help and was told that the volume of help requests was unusually high and was told to go to a chat session. I havenât had time to do this. The color options are nice but I rarely use them. They also donât seem as bright as other bulbs Iâve used.

Useful solution for pull lights
I got these on sale for prime day. I used them in ceiling lights that are pull lights with no switch. This was an easy and quick solution to my problem that doesnât require an electrician. No longer have to stumble in the dark to find the string. They were easy to connect and the app is user friendly.

Perfect for dining room fixture
Saw these on sale and decided to give them a chance. Glad I did! This was my first foray into smart lightbulbs. They helped solve a particular problem in my apartment. My dining room light fixture is controlled by a non-dimmable Z-Wave smart switch. I don’t have control over the hub, so I can’t replace the switch. Not without incurring the wrath of my landlord, anyway. Not being able to dim that light was miserable.Smart bulbs ending up being an ideal solution. The Kasa app works great, and is almost as convenient as a physical dimmer. Sometimes it’s better, since I don’t have to get up from the table. The app *does* allow three bulbs to be linked and dimmed as one, which is essential for my application.Setup was easy as well. Each bulb starts in access point mode. First you log into each one and give it your Wi-Fi credentials. Then you add them in the Kasa app and group them as needed. Very slick.These also excel as lightbulbs. Color temperature is perfect. The 90+ CRI rating is believable. Dimming is smooth and incredibly fine grained, with no flickering at lower levels. I can dial in anything from candlelight to full light suitable to work by.I’ve been using these bulbs daily for five months, with no issues. I’m very pleased with them and would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Outstanding
I have installed 7 of these in my home. I am in the process of going all TP Link with everything in my home. From Routers to smart cameras and light bulbs to smart plugs. I am throughly pleased with everything they sell. These light bulbs are my last purchase. Out of this last package of 4 bulbs I purchased I had one that would not connect to the network. Iâve tried everything, and still canât connect. Well, no big deal. Iâm still happy with their products. Keep up the good work.

Works perfectly fine.
Looks bright and no disappointment with the dim light.Took almost 1 minute to connect and after that everything was easy, I use Google home so it was so easy to pair it with it.The brightness control is a real helpful tool.

No me dio problema conectarlos, y ponerlos con Alexa, dan buena luz, yo los puse para un cuarto de televisión, lámparas de pared, me gusta esta marca porque tengo ya como 7 años con 3 que puse afuera de la casa y no me han fallado y duran prendidos casi toda la noche como desde las 7 o 6pm los programo para que vayan bajando la intensidad mientras pasan las horas hasta que se apaguen a las 4 de la mañana y el recibo de luz sin problema, no hubo cambios desde que los puse, de verdad que no gastan!

Installed about 1.5 months ago and so far working very well. Not sure how long the bulb will last, but judging by other Kasa products I purchased, I would be surprised if the quality of this was poor and it died anytime soon. Along with other Kasa products I bought, this also brought peace of mind going on vacation recently, being able to switch a lamp on/off at will, even from outside of Canada!
