Ridiculously easy to connect, incredibly reliable.
Having been through a bunch of Aoycocr smart plugs and learning the hard way that they simply do not last, I’ve switched to Kasa smart plugs and boy, am I glad I did. The Kasas work like a charm and are super easy to connect using the Kasa app, don’t lose the connection and are pretty much set it and forget it. Works great with Alexa too. As I’d always been told, “you get what you pay for.” Spend the few extra bucks and save yourself the grief: get Kasa smart plugs.

After messing around with GE Cync plugs for well over a year, I was just fed up with them not working, working intermittently, having to reset them regularly, and more. I decided to try the Kasa brand. The setup with the Kasa app was a snap – like 2 minutes per plug. The app is intuitive, the plugs work as advertised, and the system is stable. Itâs easy to set schedules or do manual override. Couldnât be happier.

Wow, leave it to tp to come up with amazing product.Easy to install, durable and, simply, the best product of its kind in the market, believe you me, Iâve tried so many different products and returned them all after major disappointments.With this, I feel spoiled and cannot stop myself from calling on Alexa to turn on then off the floor and table lamps connected to those smart plugs, I give this product 10 out 5 stars.BS: tp customer support is so friendly, knowledgeable and walked through setting up one plug out of the four and I was able to handle the other three, piece of cake. Setup problems at first, but now theyâre great
Iâve been wanting smart plugs for a while, but I didnât want to spend all that money. Luckily, I saw these for a great deal on prime day so I bought two packs, eight plugs in total. I was so excited when they arrived, and I couldnât wait to get home and set them up. Unfortunately, that part wasnât so easy.I originally tried to add these on the Tapo app, since I already use it for some cameras, but it kept saying that my network was unstable and just wouldnât finish configuring the plugs. Iâve got fiber, all my tests was reading strong signal, and none of my other devices were having issues, so I couldnât figure out what was wrong. I thought i was going to have to return them all and just wait for Black Friday to try another brand. I finally decided to try the Kasa app, and that was what worked for me.Once I downloaded the Kasa app and signed in with my Tapo login, configuring the plugs was a breeze. And since the Tapo app can sync anything Iâve got in the Kasa app, I can now control it all through Tapo. Crisis averted!I’m pretty happy with these plugs now. I’m able to schedule my lights to turn on, turn on fans with my voice via Alexa, and (because I’m paranoid about these things) make sure small appliances are “unplugged” when not in use. As silly as it probably sounds, I worry about things like a toaster going haywire and starting a fire when I’m at work, and these little smart plugs allow me to cut power to them, even if I forgot to do it before I left the house. That peace of mind is awesome.

These are Fantatic and Make Life Easier!
I may be late to the party but we are in the middle of selling our house and with each showing are supposed to turn on every light in the house. Well, I got tired of that pretty quickly! I bought two boxes of these plugs and set up all the lamps in the house on these smart plugs. Itâs so easy now! I canât believe it took selling our house to try these. I love that you can turn things on and off through the app – even when you arenât home. They also work perfectly with Alexa. There was already a Alexa skill set up for this brand which made set up with her a breeze. I bought another brand to try out as well and ended up returning those. The app that goes with this brand works better and their actual shape is rectangular (not round like the other one) which can make a difference depending on your outlet situation. These were also easier to set up. Only negative was the actual set up was not entirely simple (the directions were a bit off) and I had to google for help. Once I knew what I was doing it was 1-2-3. Love these!

Itâs extremely convenient to start it running 30 minutes before I arrive home, and have it power off an hour after I go to bed.These can be controlled with the TP-Link Tapo app, which is useful if you have both brands.The relay inside makes a pleasing, quiet click when devices are switched on or off.

Wish I had known about this product sooner. Very easy to set up, make changes if you want and I will never have to worry about changing the time clock as I did on the old style timers. Love it.
