My granddaughter loved it!
This was a Christmas present for my 4 year old granddaughter. She loves to help her mom in the kitchen to bake treats. It comes with a lot of items for baking. She used the rolling pin and muffin molds with her playdoh to make believe muffins for everyone, when she saw the apron and chef hat, she put them on and never took them off til bedtime, so I say it was big hit ð

Almost great, but…
I got this for one of the littles who always wants to help mom cook. Overall, the pieces seem like they will hold up for the foreseeable future until they are ready to transition to regular tools. BUT the pot holder/oven mitt is NOT suitable for this job and you should not let anyone use it with hot objects

I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she absolutely LOVED it…she said her favorite recipe card was for playdoh!! I think the recipes that came with it could have been geared towards children more, simpler and more fun!

DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD USE THE OVEN MITT!!
We bought this kit for my son because he really wants to be a chef. Well tonight we were baking and I grabbed his oven mitt to get a tray out of the oven and it burned right through the mitt and burned my hand. Iâm just really glad that it was me and not my son. You should never put something like this in a childâs kit that you say is rated for real use.

Fantastic set!
Our kids are still playing with these, we got these because they were always stealing ours, so now they play with these. Haven’t gotten board yet!These are all good quality really cooking utensils. Don’t feel cheap. Just like regular ones. Be careful with little ones and the knives (which are sharp but nothing like real metal knives thankfully. But will cut anything not to hard. The peeler is real metal so watch your little one or just take it away if they aren’t old enough to understand. You can swap these out if you need to use them to if you can’t find yours!The measuring cups are good. Would recommend, worth the price

Perfect for kiddos who love to help in the kitchen!
I got this for my almost 4 year old for Christmas and wrapped it before I could get a picture, but I looked through everything and it is all legit tools that my toddler will LOVE! it even came with recipe cards and one of them is for playdough. I am so excited for her to open this because I know it will get a ton of use. I bake most days and she is always wanting to help and this will make her feel more welcome in the kitchen.These are actual cooking and baking tools, not toys, but they’re still very child friendly and perfect for tiny chefs/bakers! I’m so excited for my daughter to open this gift!

For little aspiring chefs
Full disclosure, I’m giving this to my soon-to-be 7 year old as a birthday gift, so I can’t fully speak to it’s durability, etc just yet. I will update after it as been used.But for this initial review, I just wanted to say that upon inspection of the items, this set looks absolutely perfect for our aspiring chef! The utensils are indeed actual items that can be used to cook/bake, and the apron is a nice touch. The oven mitt is very large, even on my hand, so I may need to switch that out for a smaller one, but it is an actual, usable mitt, not a flimsy piece of cloth like so many included with kids items! The set also includes recipe cards with easy to make recipes that a child would actually want to make/eat, and there are blank sides for them to write down their own favorites, as well as a small notebook they can use for any notes they need. The cookie cutters are very small, but are adorable shapes that would be very cute to have them cut shapes for items going into a Bento Box lunch. This set also gives them their own training knifes, cutting board and vegetable peeler!The box itself is very giftable – it is well packaged and could easily be wrapped. There is even a blank Christmas card inside which you could include if giving for the holiday. The ages on the box state that the set is for 4+, and (other than that large oven mitt), everything seems to be a good size for child’s hands.1st impression is that I am very, very pleased with this set for a kiddo that ALWAYS wants to help in the prepare everything we eat – and who wants to do so much of it themselves. I will update further upon actual use, but I believe this is a great gift for kids who love being in the kitchen!
