Easy set-up
Got 2 lamps in the living room my mother is chilling in while recovering from being a 70 y/o lady who took a tumble from covid related weakness, and needed an easy way to operate them. 2 of these paired very easily with the 3rd gen echo dot we’re using as a sound bar in that room and work those lights easily. I’ve said that smart plugs are the overeducated grandchildren of the Clapper, and my case is made. Not an insult.End? Cheap, easy, and they work.

Everything Right!
YEAH! I installed this in about half a minute using Smart Life!So great! I have had SO much trouble with almost every other smart plug. Also, it LOOKS like an outlet in of a regular circuit and it WORKS like a regular outlet. Most WiFi Smart Plugs are meant for 10 AMP maximum. I have ruined about 6 others thinking they were usable for anything except lighting or low-wattage devices.PROS:- 15 AMP / 1800w- works flawlessly to control heaters and other devices drawing 1500 watts or more (1800w max)!!!!!!- neatly fits socket so 2 plugs can easily use same outlet (not all smart plugs do!)- fast, super easy to install- simple, clear controls for setting schedules- works with Smart Life app instantly (important)CONS:- one reviewer notes it will only work if Internet is available (not important for me because ONLY time I don’t have internet is when power is out). Anyway, my smart switches work w/o Internet and all my other smart plugs require Internet (I think). No concern – for me.

These work very well – a little too big though
First off – definitely buy these, because they do what they say they will, and they make life a whole lot easier (and your home more aesthetically pleasing). Note that I am only using them with the KMC Smart app (not Alexa, voice, or other options), so this review speaks solely to functionality on that app (installed on iPhone). The Negative:1. They are a bit large; if you are installing them on a crowded strip, or even a wall plate with a tight squeeze with a neighboring plug, you may not be able to fit them.2. Slow to pair initially, and sometimes you have to repeat the process before the app connects.3. Sometimes the app shows the connection as offline for no reason. Restarting the app helps. Just a little but annoying glitch.4. You can create a setting that turns ON at a specific time of day (good for Christmas lights), but for some reason, adding a second commend to turn OFF doesnât work.5. I read that they lose all functionality after a blackout, so you have to start from scratch in that instance (pain in the you know what when you have several). However I havenât experienced this personally (very few blackouts in my area). The Positive:1. Well-priced at around $5 apiece2. App is easy to use3. Name each plug whatever you like4. Eliminate the need to keep unsightly cords and switches accessible/visible in your space

Updated review, and happy now…
UPDATE 05/09/20:Everything in the review below is still true, however, after resetting them again, they have been working flawlessly.Tech support is still slow, and relegated to email, but the app seems to have many more bells and whistles, and also includes a plethora of additionalDevices that may be added. I do like the fact that you donât need a hub, so all things considered, Iâm pleased and would definitely buy again.FORMER 3-STAR REVIEW (PERFECT AT FIRST, THEN USESS 3-MO LATER…)I downloaded the app in conjunction with my purchase of (6) KMC Sockets on Amazon about 6-months ago to use with various light. My intent was to schedule times for them to be on and off for safety and convenience at both my personal home, as well as for three Airbnbs.Regarding the sockets âI loved the size as compared to other, larger options, the price, and the ease of setup and use between the devices and the app. There was a small learning curve, but the added benefit of not needing a hub, made up for it.They worked perfectly until yesterday, when I opened the app to turn off a couple of light in the evening, I first noticed my app no longer required the passcode pattern I had set. Then, once the app was opened, it not only looked entirely different, âall of my devices had disappeared.âThis is a large problem, because I will now have. to wait until my Airbnbs are vacant, then physically drive to each house and reconnect each device individually â not an easy task. Then, when I sought help via the app on the âFAQ/Feedbackâ option, the form only allowed 300 characters, required 3 photos, and also, asked specifically âwhichâ device was in question â and âALLâ of my formerly missing devices, showed up in an option window. So, the specificity of my request was narrowed down to a single device, when in actuality, itâs was systemic, and involved all six.My final attempt at procuring assistance, was via the Apple app storeâs app listing âDeveloper Website.â Although I wish I read/spoke many other languages, the entire site was in Chinese (I believe) without any option to translate to other languages. So, that was a dead end.I am hopeful that someone from the developer sees this and contacts me with some solutions. I will have to go and reconnect all six, but would like to know how/why this happened to be proactive in the future or Ill have to choose another option with better customer support.

Cumple con todo lo que dice, se puede conectar con Alexa, tu celular, etc. y tiene un botón también para prenderlo y apagarlo.
