Limited heat ability
I use these pads as a heat compress to help yield a greater letdown while pumping, and I’ve found them to be very useful for that purpose. They fit well around my pump flanges and can be snapped in place to prevent slipping, which is especially helpful for holding the pump parts in place when using a hands-free pumping bra. My only complaint is that they are limited in how warm they can become. The instructions say to microwave them a maximum of 25 seconds, and can only do so in 5-10 second intervals. For this reason they can be a pain to heat up and I I’ve found that 25 seconds really doesn’t get them as warm as I would like. Would be so much better if I could heat them 30-45 seconds and all in one round, rather than doing multiple 10 second bursts. Oh well. It’s inconvenient, but ultimately they do their job, so overall I’m happy.

A Lifesaver for New Moms!
These have been a lifesaver, especially in the beginning as I was learning to breastfeed. They provide much-needed relief at the end of the day and stay frozen for about 30 minutes. The kit also comes with a cloth pouch to use with the gel packs, which is a nice touch. I havenât tried them warm yet, but Iâm so glad I made this purchase!

Helpful for Pumping but Donât Stay Warm Long Enough
These have definitely helped with my milk flowâI always seem to get more milk when I use them while pumping. I haven’t used them cold. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because they donât stay warm as long as Iâd like them to. The disposable ones have worked better for me. Also, the covers they come with seem to block some of the heat, so I end up not using them. That said, they do make a noticeable difference in my pumping sessions, and I still find them really helpful overall!

These do not stay cold or hold very long at all, used once for mastitis and would not buy or use again. A regular ice pack works much better. Good quality material and size but does not serve its purpose.
