How to get started with MELPO Bluetooth rgb flood light needed APP control.
1, Scan the QR code on the manual to download the “BRmesh” APP from Google Play or IOS APP Store.

We live in a ranch-style home and bought 2 sets of 4 lights. I was concerned the light was going to be too small and dim for our needs but it was not. I have 6 covering the front and 1 side of my home and 2 for a patriotic flag display. Lights are easily set up and controlled from a smartphone app – brightness, color and timer. One light burned out after 30 days of use and I emailed the company, got a reply w/in 12 hours re: how to file a claim. Product lighting is very bright. Color choices are great. App is user friendly and easy to connect to app. Was concerned lighting may not be wide enough for space of house but has exceeded expectations. App allows you to change colors to individual lights. Light color choices sync back to the colors that were chosen for each light the night before. So once color choice is made it saves the choice unless you want to change it which is easy to do. My plan is to keep these lights for Halloween, Christmas and maybe 4th of July. I do see reviews of water leaking in the lights so hopefully I do not have rain within this month. May have to silicon around light to avoid water leakage but will avoid doing so and see how product handles. If it fails I will be back to update and take my stars away. Haha

These really are nice little lights. Here’s hoping they are indeed waterproof (rain, not submersion).Easy set up (if app doesn’t recognize lights, unplug them and plug them back in), andits easy to rename and change the color of each lamp/light.I do wish these had come with ground stakes, but so far, that has been the only downside.

Nice lights, but features and functionality is lacking
Pros: lighting is bright. Lights change colors smoothly and through a large range colors. Scenes can be set in the app to more easily change through custom lighting setups. Solid metal housing and seems to be high quality 3-prong AC cables for each light.Cons: The iOS app. Difficult to understand the app with the broken English translations. Cannot set timer on all lights at one time. You have to go to each light in the app and adjust the timer individually. This is a huge drawback to someone coming from Govee lights. You also cannot set timer based on sunset/sunrise. Which means multiple times a year I’ll have to go to each light and adjust the timer setting. Each light also has the same lighting effect. There’s no way to have more advanced effects like waves of different color, etc. Also cannot adjust brightness of lighting modes. You can only adjust the brightness when you’re on one solid color which is boring.Short Bluetooth range. I have to be within 10 feet of the lights to turn them on/off manually. “Mesh” does not do a thing to extend range. The first couple lights will turn on when I get within 10 feet of them but the next further away lights do not. I have to get closer to those lights and press on again. Very annoying when mesh is advertised so that this sort of thing should not be an issue.Overall I’ll keep the lights since the lighting looks nice and now that the timer is set up, it works. Just have to adjust the timer throughout the year for each light. My Govee lights kept dying from the moisture. I’ll see if these are any better in wet conditions in the long run.

I work in the marketing and advertising industry, but also do events, so that being said I use lighting a lot for various purposes.I’m getting married in a few months and the hall we have booked and n a small, rural area only has very bright fluorescent lights that cannot be dimmed – which would be terrible for photos and overall mood setting.I’m putting each light on the floor facing the wall on a 45 degree angle a few feet away from several walls while using a slight warm tone. This will reflect the light onto the wall, ceiling and surrounding areas without intruding anyone’s eyesight. This is also a best case scenario and work around for the wedding photographer (I also did wedding photos for about 18 years – so I fully get this).That being said, the lights are anti flicker and anti line bar (the rolling bars you get sometimes on your screen when filming bright lights facing you).Now, next, the app is perfect. I wouldn’t worry too much about the people in the comments saying it’s complicated. If you’re used to using phone apps, you’ll be fine. If you work with lights, editing, etc, and understand RGB – you’re SET!It was easy to download, install each light, then either use them individually or as a group.Buy these. Buy these now!
