Lenovo ThinkBook â AZXUT Storeâs Gray market deals
I purchased this laptop in the US from AZXUT Store, but I see that it was originally shipped to the United Arab Emirates with the warranty started 4 months ago there. Shipping was very fast.The laptop arrived in a Lenovo box (but NO specifications stickers were on the box – like Lenovo does when they ship a laptop). Booted it ⦠I mean ⦠TRIED to boot it up and found that the Win11Pro install was corrupted and it tried to repair itself but was unable to.It looks like AZXUT Store just buys laptops from the factory or dealer and then adds a larger SSD and more RAM and then sells them back to the US market. It seems that they may take the original SSD and âtryâ to clone it onto the new larger SSD. The larger (and not as good) SSD was a Kingston SNV2S1000G (not the same as the Lenovo stock Western Digital or Samsung SSD that comes in this model from the factory). The laptop also had Secure Boot disabled (I’m assuming for the cloning).Here I am, wiping the Kingston ssd and starting over from scratch. Ahhhh ⦠my brand new laptop ð**Update – now that I have wiped the SSD and reinstalled Win 11 Pro from a Microsoft image, the laptop is up and running. I haven’t had any issues with it since I reinstalled the OS and I am hopeful that it will work well for years to come.

Grey market goods
The laptop is working fine so far, but I purchased in the USA and the model I received was intended for the South African market. I hope this doesn’t cause any warranty issues down the road.

Stopped working in less than 60 days
This computer stopped working in less than 60 days. When I contacted support, found out my warranty is out of the UAE….not a happy customer. Had I know that, I would never have purchased this computer.

Good laptop – windows installation was corrupt
The laptop itself is pretty decent, but the Windows 11 installation was corrupt the first time I booted it. The computer just power cycled forever and windows repair/recovery didn’t work so I had to manually reinstall Windows from scratch from a thumb drive.
