    Great Travel Laptop
This seems to be one of the best laptops for travel. It is very lightweight and slim.I have used it on several 2 week and month long trips and it works well. The battery life is about 4 hours with hard use (complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets). I highly reccommend this for business travelers – it has a 10-key number entry keypad as part of the keyboard.I upgraded the Windows 11 home edition to the Pro version, this gives you more control over the OS.

Thinnest lightest crisp monitor for LInux and Windows
Very happy – after looking for some time at different laptops to dual boot Linux as primary and Windows just in case, I went with this model. No touchscreen, which I knew going into it. Battery is not 10 hours as advertised but still lasts so much longer than other laptops I have used including Surface Pro 9. Getting Linux Mint to work on it with Secure Boot & MOK Util was a bit of a trick, and initially wireless/bluetooth would not work in Linux. After many hours of googling, I was able to get everything working perfectly. If you are just going to use Windows, it works perfectly out of the box. So light, so thin! I bought this as a secondary laptop for when I am on the couch, in bed, etc. It just may become my primary laptop. There are only 2 or 3 useful video reviews online so I was a bit nervous about the purchase – but this was money very well spent. LG doesn’t do a good enough job marketing how awesome this laptop is!

    Incredibly light
Plus:- Overall great machine. Very happy with purchase!- Incredibly light – as advertised – yet all the power needed for busy work/study/research.- Screen size and format are great – plenty of real estate in a small package. Much preferred over previous 15in laptop. Larger keyboard with num keys another big plus.Minus:- no fingerprint sensor (faster and easier than face recon)- speakers are very underwhelming, making video calls challenging at times (AirPods connect easily, thankfully)

    A $2000 computer
A $2000 computer from LG does not include a touch screen. “Are you kidding?”

    Do not buy
This machine has been buggy since day 1 and now can no longer upload to internet (even after driver reinstallation, ipconfig/reset, network reset etc etc), and download, while functional is much slower than all other machines on out network. Machine is non functional for anything on web (zoom calls drop every 2-5 minutes or can’t connect, google and OneDrive non functional). Laptop is clear the issue as have plugged 2 other machines into same dock with exact same router/cabling etc and both work perfectly with 600-900MBS download and 30-50 upload speeds.LG says I need to mail it to them for them to fix it, for $500 repair charge (of which only $420 is refundable if they are unable to fix the issue).

    The ULTIMATE In Portability
Bottom Line Up Front: This is one of the most incredibly portable laptops I’ve ever owned. In exchange for some portability, you sacrifice some power and functionality. This is not a laptop for gaming or intensive processing. Although powerful, it is aimed at business and school type applications.OVERALL IMPRESSION:This is truly a great laptop. It’s quick, even when on battery power. It packs a i7 1365 processor, 32GB of RAM, and two 1TB SSD’s (hard drives). There are times when I can see a slight sluggishness on battery power but for business applications this laptop is no slouch. It features three USB-C ports, so if you only have USB-A dongles you’ll want to get an adapter or begin updating your gear, USB-C is the future! The screen is beautiful but only has a 60Hz refresh rate.SCREENThe OLED screen is absolutely beautiful. The screen is only 60Hz though. I am of the opinion that all new laptop screens should be at least 120Hz. My work screen is 165Hz and my gaming laptop is 300Hz, even my wife’s Asus laptop is OLED with 120Hz. Having a 60Hz screen is definitely noticeable. Especially on a 1080p screen. For explanation, the higher the refresh rate the smoother movement on the screen will be.KEYBOARD/TOUCHPADI love the feel of the keyboard. The keys are a chiclet style, all separate, but very springy and responsive. I especially enjoy having a full size number pad as well. The touchpad is good and supports multiple inputs. In other words, you can use two fingers to zoom in and out of a web page like you would on your phone.PERFORMANCEPerformance is great, when plugged in, this PC runs like a champ. You of course sacrifice some performance when on battery, but it isn’t that noticeable. Websites still load quickly and most programs/apps do as well. You’ll see from my uploaded images that SSD read speeds are as high as 7058mbps, that’s just slightly less than my top of the line gaming PC, running a PCI 5.0 Samsung 990 SSD.Internet speed. In the attached speed test my two laptops were side by side. The connected router was in the room just above me. The router is an ASUS ET8 with Wi-Fi6E. My phone has achieved speeds of almost 800mbps. My gaming laptop, which is Wi-Fi 6 capable was running at around 450mbps. This laptop was at 173mbps. I do not know what happened with this, as this PC is equipped with a Wi-Fi 6E wireless network adapter. This may require more testing. This speed test was also conducted after all updates had been installed and it was plugged in to constant power.Graphics. You could do some light gaming on this machine. It’s processor and RAM are plenty to handle wha the IrisXE cannot. You won’t be playing anything that is graphically demanding or getting insane framerates, but I know that The Sims can be played without issue.I did find one thing very odd in that I was unable to run Speccy, to pull all specs in a summarized view to post with this review. I can only assume this has to do with the TPM chip not allowing access to the hardware, but I was able to read everything with CPUZ-ID.WEBCAM. The webcam on this machine is great. The image is clear and runs at (I think) 60FPS.PHYSICAL CONNECTIVITY- It has 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports which have insane transfer speeds. These ports are also for power, so if you don’t have a dongle that supports power delivery, get one, or you’ll be losing a USB port while charging. It is probably a good idea to get one anyways so you have USB-A and ethernet all built into one dongle. The included ethernet dongle is only 100mbps per the included documentation, so make sure you get one that is gigabit capable. It doesn’t make a huge difference while browsing the internet or working on email, but if you are transferring large files it absolutely does.PORTABILITYThis laptop is only 2 pounds. It feels like the weight of a small tablet in your hands; it’s a 15.6 inch laptop however, and it is incredible how light it is!
