2nd REVIEW UPDATE…It’s 5 months since I purchased this product and I still like the LG earbuds. But about 2-3 months ago, the sound in the right earbud stopped working. Even when the volume is turned up to the max – the sound from the right earbud is so faint its like a very low whisper. However, the sound in the left earbud is continuing to work just fine. I thought the issue with the right earbud had something to do with my iPhone, so I tested the earbuds out on 2 other mobile phones and the sound from the right earbud still does not work properly. Other than this, I really light the earbuds. The earbud retraction still works great and I have not had issues with speaking on the phone using the earbuds. Also, I charge the earbuds a few hours at night and I am able to use the earbuds the entire day with no issues with charging. I did purchase the warranty, so if the right earbud continues to not work, I hope the manufacturer honors my warranty. Although I am very disappointed that the right earbud stop working 2-3 months after purchase, I still recommend this product to others1st REVIEWAfter purchasing several inexpensive earbuds (that did not last long), I decided to purchase the LG earbud. Thus far, I am very please with the product. The sound is very clear. I am not someone who wants loud music blasting in my ears so I am very pleased with the volume and bass of the music. Also, when I used the cheaper earbuds in the past, I was always told by the person on the phone that he/she could not hear me. So now, every time I speak to someone using the LG earbud, I ask them can you hear me clearly and, so far, 100% of the people have said “yes, I hear you just fine”. The retraction on the earbuds are nice as well. The product description states to be gentle when pulling on the retractable earbud. This was a concern of mind at first because I can be a bit rough with products (per my husband). So I make sure to pull on the retractable earbud very gently and so far so good. I have had the product for 1-2 months and I am still pleased. I also purchased the 3-year warranty. So, I recommend this product to others.

Great earbuds – but do not last long with heavy use
This is my third pair in two years, but worth the price of service. For me they are really comfortable to use, which trumps longevity. Plan on replacing them once in a while. The break points for me are: the springs that draw the buds back in, the stem breaks or one bud will stop working.

Broke almost immediately.
Edit: a month into owning these, the buttons stopped working. The headset will still connect to my phone and receive audio, but I can’t pause/play or adjust volume from the headset.I just bought this, so jury is still out on longevity. But so far, quality is excellent. I’ve bought a dozen or so of the $20-$40 Chinese generics over the years (they last 6 to 24 months), and I liked them enough that I couldn’t imagine how a name brand version for twice the price could be better. Well, almost everything about this is notably higher quality: it connects more quickly to my phone upon startup and after having been charged, and with a more pleasant chime; the material is tangibly higher quality; and it fits the contour of my neck better and so does less “flopping” when I run. The only thing that irritates me are the buttons; the volume UP and volume DOWN buttons are on the right side and far apart from each other, and rather than being buttons they are a raised “plus” and a raised “minus” symbol, which makes them more like Braille than like buttons. I much prefer the cheap Chinese brands, whose buttons are easy to feel and are right next to each other. Also, the pause/play button is on the left side, which means that you have to remember which side of your neck is home to which controls. I much prefer the headsets that have the UP, DOWN, and PAUSE/PLAY button next to each other on the same side (generally with the PLAY button between the UP and DOWN buttons).

The right ear bud quit working
I deliver mail so I spend 9+ hours day driving. The first set I had worked for a very long time. Years. Eventually the right ear bud quit working and since I had them so long and loved them so much I bought the exact same ones to replace it. Within 2 months the right ear bud quit working on the brand new set. It can’t be a coincidence that the right ear bud gave out on both sets. Mail trucks are loud so I need both ear pieces in to hear my audio books. Even though the right ear bud doesn’t work I still use it to block out the noise of the truck. I really would have given 5 stars if the right ear bud on the new set lasted a while because i was so happy with the first set and it did last a couple years before it gave out on me. But 2 months? Nope. I won’t be purchasing another set. I like that these stay on my neck so I don’t lose one or have to have pockets to store them like wireless earbuds. The charge lasts about 10-12 hours with all day use listening audio books. I’m sure the charge would last much longer for less frequent use. I was going to leave a 1 star but ill leave a 3 star, because the first set lasted so long and I really did love these.

Wire damage but not return option available. Third class service of lg ear phone. Waste of money
