Descriptive, Interesting, Beneficial.
I LOVE this book and want desperately to try out the adventures it yields. My negative is that I can’t find anyone as motivated (or retired) as me

Workable for those who bike
Like a similar title from Lonely Planet, I selected “Epic Bike Rides of the Americas (Lonely Planet)” by Lonely Planet out of curiosity and hoping for gorgeous photography. Then I received it and went, “I don’t bike!” That meant, while I do enjoy the photography, I was perhaps not the real audience for this particular book. So I lent it to a family member who regularly bikes (road and mountain) and he really liked the book. The focus on the Americas made it workable for him because it is cost-effective. He liked that there is practical advice as well as travel advice and preparation. It is both aspirational and do-able. He also liked the photography too. He wouldn’t say if it was ‘epic’ but since he considers ‘epic’ an overrated term, that’s a compliment. It is more that the rides are workable to him and he can already see himself doing some of them. It is a gorgeously packaged book and it would look good on the coffee and as a conversation piece for those of us who don’t bike. For those who do bike on the regular, this is definitely worth the look.

Book for Cyclist Enthusiasts
I purchased this book for my Grandson for Christmas who is new to mountain biking. He keeps it on his desk next to his bed and frequently reads of new adventures. It’s a wonderful gift.

Bike riding
I gave this book 5 stars as it has many glimpses into different bicycle trips. After reading this book I feel the rider must do more decking into a specific ride they want to embark upon.
