I am really hooked on this lipstick! It’s very long wearing and it’s super gentle on my lips. I’ve tried long wear lipstick in the past and found that it dried my lips out too much and irritated them, like it sucked the moisture out of my lips. This doesn’t do that at all! They feel very comfortable underneath, no itching, and don’t feel dry when I take it off at the end of the day. It has a really pretty matte sheen, and I like the scent, kind of vanilla.Let me address some common complaints among other reviewers and why I think they’re wrong. First off, it is really easy to take off if you know what you’re doing. Oil takes this stuff off quite easily, so do some makeup wipes. Most lip balms will take it off as well. For example, I use laneige lip balm at night and it takes it off just fine. Put some on, rub your lips together, and then wipe off with a tissue. Neutrogena makeup wipes also take it off.Secondly, I do agree that this product is very sticky. I have found that I can put my Mac lipglass on over top and now it’s not sticky anymore! Also the gloss gives it a nice sheen or glitter depending on what shade of gloss. And most importantly, Mac lipglass does not take it off, yay!Third, because oil takes it off, depending on what you had to eat, it will or won’t survive your meal. So some people say they had really good luck with it lasting all day, and other people complaining that it’s worn off after a few hours. I think it really depends on what you had to eat that day. If I have something light and non-greasy for lunch like sushi then my lipstick lasts the entire work day without needing a touch-up. If I have a lunch that’s heavy on oil, like salad dressing or a lot of butter, then I have to reapply after I finish eating. But one touch up in the middle of the day to freshen up the center of your lips is no big deal! That still wayyyyy beats any kind of conventional lipstick.Fourth, your lips need to be totally clean and oil free before you apply. And this stuff takes about a minute to set. So if you’re putting it on, say, on top of lip balm, it isn’t going to be long wear lipstick. Likewise, let it set well before you go off for the day. If I get lipstick on my teeth, it’s usually during this period where it hasn’t set yet. If that happens, I just wait until it is set, and then wipe it off my teeth with a Kleenex. Not a big deal at all!Now on to the colors… I am extremely fair skinned (usually the lightest color in any foundation brand), blue eyes, cool undertone, and brown/ reddish hair. On me, I really like the way dreamer and lover look. Very flattering and works well if you have cool undertones in your skin. I like poet, but it’s almost a little too orange/ coral for my skin tone. I agree with other reviewers that seductress doesn’t look at all like the photos online. That shade is way more brown in person. Like a ’90s brown… I’ll probably wear it some, but definitely not the most flattering for cool toned skin. I definitely plan on buying another color or two. At this price point, it’s pretty easy to experiment. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Holds very well
I’ve bought 6 of these in different shaded to find the perfect one. Although I’m keeping them all because I love this lipstick. The shades are hard to judge from online but that’s expected with online shopping. It goes on smooth and dries fast. It’s highly pigmented. Once it’s dry it will not budge. It’s on your lips until you SCRUB your lips with makeup remover. Even with makeup remover it’s very difficult to get off. It does not transfer to other objects. I can rub my hand on my lip’s and nothing stains. It lasts even while eating and drinking. There isn’t really a smell or taste. It is matte so if you want glossy lips you’ll have to put something over it but I like the matte.

Cannot live without this
Best colorstay lipstick on the planet! It stays on forever! If your lips aren’t clean or you put too much it can peel/feather prematurely so be mindful of that. Easily comes off with micellar water (I use waterproof makeup removing kind not sure how well regular micellar water works). Only con, it can be drying to the lips.

Best Matte Lipstick!!

Dura mucho y el color es hermoso

Oa batons sao lindos e bem pigmentados.Eu normalmente nao gosto de batom matte pois sempre ficam com a textura muito seca e esfarelando no centro da boca. Os da maybelline deram um SHOW de qualidade. Super confortaveis, matte mas sem ressecar e dura muito. Ate mesmo com agua micelar e sabonete foi dificil de retirar ele por completo 😂 apenas com cleaning oil que consigo remover todo o batom. Comprei 1 cor e depois de testar peguei as outras 3.A unica cor que me decepcionou um pouco foi a seductress. Ela nao é fiel a imagem nas modelos. Fica completamente no tom da boca ao inves de ser um rosa/nude mais escuro. Entao nao valeu tanto a pena. No swatch na mao é bonito mas na boca ficou muito apagado. As demais sao lindas.
