At 8 months pregnant I have some pretty big varicose veins and these have really, really helped. I was very surprised to be a size large (Iâm usually a sm/med) but Iâm really glad I follow the sizing chart and got a large. Quality and Comfort.
I needed compression after varicose vein procedures. The traditional socks (that I bought locally) were putting too much compression on my foot which was aggravating a mortons neuroma. And, I still had to wrap my thigh with an ace bandage. I found these, which provide thigh-hi medical grade compression without foot compression! Perfect. Very comfortable. They stay in place, even while bike riding!

Stockings stay up!
I had to wear compression stockings for 5 days after a leg procedure, so I chose these footless, thigh-highs because seemed like the most comfortable, least bothersome option. They worked very well for me. The elastic band at the top has little round grippers that really grip! These stay up better than another brand pair of thigh-high compression stockings I wore the last time I had this procedure. I am 5’3″ and about 117 lbs and I needed the Medium Size. (The Small size must be really tight!)

First off, these do not stay up, they constantly roll down the thigh and create pressure.Also, I wear a size XL in shorts and had to order a 3XL to fit on my legs and they are still extremely tight and uncomfortable.The fabric feels very cheap, almost like several layers of womanâs panty hose put together. I do not see these lasting very long.

Using these compression sleeves post vascular procedure. One fits and one is horribly tight. Since Iâm using on the same leg it is definitely that one is not the same as the other. Planning to buy another pair locally to avoid this kind of problem.

Good value and fit
I had knee replacement surgery and swelling is occasionally an issue. I wanted a compression stocking that was footless.Yes these are tight and I have to work to get them on, but they are supposed to be that way! They fit well and stay up. Iâve washed them multiple times, worn them while working in yard, basically been pretty rough in them and they have held up. No tears or runs. Iâve used them for 3 months so far.Just a heads up, if you are more petite and heavier set Iâm not sure if these will fit properly. Iâm 5 ft3 and ordered large. I would have liked them to be a little shorter, but they still worked for me.Overall a good value and fit that addressed my needs.

Not sure what you have to do!
I was delighted with the no foot, felt wonderful not to have that bulk. However even the first day they began to ease down on my leg. The second day they went down over the knee and if I didn’t stop and pull them up I’m afraid they’d have been at my ankles. Not sure they seemed tight at the thigh, but they are not. Maybe a smaller size.The smaller size works well, so glad I got to try it.

I ordered these instead of buying the extremely expensive prescription ones. Believe me when i say that i am so glad that i did! But peopleâ¦order according to the size guide and your measurementsâ¦not what you usually wear. I would have been size Small – Tall in the prescription ones but in these, Iâm a Large. They fit perfectly and in fact, would still work if I was taller. For reference, Iâm female, 5â6â and 145lbs. I needed these for a spontaneous DVT.Second topic is the falling down or stretching that i saw some users give feedback on. They are a good quality, thick, stretchy material. I hike mine right up to the top of my leg, not mid or two thirds up my thigh. I make sure that I have distributed the compression properly up and over mid thigh. Even after a full dayâs wear with lots of movement, they donât slip an inch and I get a bonus little push up of my tush! The only complaint I might have is that it was somewhat irritating up there at first. Now i donât even notice them.I also hand wash them in the sink with a gentle lingerie soap, every 2-3 wears. This helps maintain the integrity of the compression and prevents them from stretching out.I will most definitely buy more of these in a different colour. Hope this helps!
